New Student Orientation Mission Statement In support of the mission of Tallahassee Community College, the Orientation Program strives to enhance student learning and success by promoting the intellectual, social, and personal development of students through programming, academic planning, and selfassessment.

Goals of Orientation 1. To empower students to take responsibility for their education. 2. To assist students in gaining a greater understanding of the value of an education. 3. To assist students in developing an academic plan for their next two semesters at TCC. 4. To improve student understanding of the need to set priorities and find balance in their lives.
