Drapala, CIH, CHMM, CIEC, CMC, is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) and a Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC). Mr. Drapala has over 26 years of experience in environmental health and safety consulting. This includes compliance and permitting for federal and state environmental regulations, conducting employee exposure assessments regarding OSHA employee safety regulations, emergency response and indoor air quality investigations, remediation and renovation designs concerning asbestos, lead paint, hazardous materials and biological contamination. He has conducted investigations for federal, state, and local governmental agencies, institutions of higher learning, and private concerns, as well as AHERA Inspections and planning management for various school districts throughout the Southeast. Mr. Drapala has developed training materials and presented Industrial Hygiene and Indoor Air Quality seminars for various professional industries, such as insurance adjusters, real estate brokers and appraisers, and professional engineers. Additionally, Mr. Drapala provides expert witness and assistance for trial preparation to attorneys involving indoor air quality (IAQ) and industrial hygiene (IH) litigation. He has written articles and materials for IAQ education seminars with emphasis on molds and bioaerosol exposures. Mr. Drapala currently serves as a Certification Board Member for the American Council for Accreditation Certification (formerly the American Indoor Air Quality Council). Danny Shows is President and CEO of two Mississippi based companies. 4D Solutions, Inc is a Tier 1 Emergency Services Company and SCHAUS LLC is an Emergency Professional Services Company. Danny started 4D Solutions in 2008 and SCHAUS in 2009. Since the inception of the companies several contracts were negotiated including the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH), Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), Health Management Association (HMA), Mississippi Power Company (MPC), Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), C Spire, United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), the Yazoo Mississippi Delta Levee Board, and multiple Counties in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. Activations for both Public and Private Sectors include Hurricane Gustav and Ike in 2008, the Cumberland River Flood of 2010, the Tornado Outbreak of 2011, the MS River Flood of 2011, and Hurricane Isaac of 2012. Day to Day Projects include Enterprise Wide Document Management Solutions, Medical Online Applications, Feasibility Studies, Facility Assessments, and Exercises. Current memberships include the Central US Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC) and the Mississippi Civil Defense and Emergency Management Association (MCDEMA). Pro bono projects include the Mississippi Business Emergency Management Operations Center (MBEOC) consulting and design. Research and Development include stand alone ADA Showers, Disaster Management Software, and Infant DayPac's. Prior to starting the two companies Danny was involved with both Private and Public Sector Emergency Communications Systems including an early retirement from Cisco Networks. He has been married for 38 years to Darlene Shows and has 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
