You can find it at https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/. The DailyFinance Portfolio is also available on your phone through our mobile app also free! What Features the New Portfolios Bring We have upgraded Portfolios to bring you a product that s timelier, easier to use and more robust. We re excited that the new features we ve launched deliver on this and help you analyze and evaluate your holdings, so you can become a better investor. With the new DailyFinance Portfolio, you have: Synced Accounts. You now have the choice of syncing your 401K, IRA, brokerage and advisor accounts into your AOL DailyFinance portfolio, in addition to manually entering your holdings. With all your accounts on DailyFinance.com, you also have the convenience of not having to sign into multiple broker sites. Holdings that Update Automatically. With synced accounts, your information will be pulled in straight from your brokerages. As part of our portfolio upgrade, we ve also made sure that stock values in your portfolio update faster than before. Better Charts and Comparisons. Our upgraded analytics give you better transparency into your money. Our worldclass charts show you your performance and risk, so you can project your dividends, perfect your asset allocation and more. Our detailed performance comparisons help you benchmark your portfolio against every major index. Custom Views of Investment Metrics. You now have the ability to create custom views based on the information you care about. Choose from a wealth of metrics. For example, net margin, revenue growth, EPS and Beta. You can also sort your holdings against these data points. Faster Market Updates. In addition to our advanced analytics, you ll continue to have access to market news and commentary from over 500 sources. Like before, these news updates and analysis are customized for you, based on your holdings. Brand New Features: Report Card & Asset Manager. Our new Report Card feature gives you an analysis of your portfolio, comparing it against an optimal one based on your investment risk preference. You can also opt to use the Asset Manager feature, which lets the professionals at SigFig manage your portfolio for you (fees may apply). They ll balance your existing portfolio and make sure it stays on track. Learn more about these features on page 26 and 27. What Features are Staying the Same So what s NOT changing? The features that you use and enjoy. We know that you rely on these, so they are being preserved. Rest assured knowing that you can continue to: See your entire investment portfolio at once, in one convenient dashboard. Sign into Portfolios with either your AOL or Facebook credentials as you normally would. Print or edit your portfolio at any time and as often as you want. Receive daily or weekly emails of your portfolio performance. While you can now sync your investment accounts, you will still be able to put in your holdings manually. Take your portfolio on the go with our same mobile app, which has been improved to reflect our new features. Make sure you ve downloaded the update to the app. 3

They have already recommended over $300 million in investment optimizations for their users. Security SigFig uses various bank-level security to keep their investment platform safe to use. Some of their security standards include: 256-bit SSL encryption (the same level your bank or brokerage uses), so your data including your account number and login information is hidden. Routine security audits and physical protection of servers, with data protected by several layers of authentication and encryption. Transmission of credentials through a secure https connection. Independently-verified security tests. Accessing Portfolios You can access Portfolios across DailyFinance.com the same ways you have before: Use the direct URL: https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/ and follow the Sign In prompts. If you re on DailyFinance.com, hover over Invest, select Portfolios and sign in. If you re already signed into AOL, go to the MyDailyFinance module on the top left corner and click View All Portfolios under the My Portfolios tab. Signing In and Signing Out Signing into the new DailyFinance Portfolio is the same as it s always been: 1. Go to https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/ or if you re on DailyFinance.com, hover over Invest and select Portfolios. 2. Sign in either with your AOL account or your Facebook account. In the Username or Email field, enter your user name and in the Password field, enter your password. Then, click Sign In. If you have already signed into AOL from AOL Mail, AOL.com, or another AOL site, you will be taken straight to your Portfolios and will not have to sign in. This is because you have already signed into the AOL network. To sign out of Portfolios, click Sign Out at the top of any DailyFinance.com page. Note to AOL Desktop Software Users: You ll access portfolios the same as you always have. Today s Portfolio vs. Yesterday s First Time Signing in after DailyFinance Portfolio Upgrade If you had a DailyFinance Portfolio account previous to our Portfolio upgrade (in other words, you re a current user), follow the steps below to access your account: 1. Go to https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/ or if you re on DailyFinance.com, hover over Invest and select Portfolios. 2. Sign in either with your AOL account or your Facebook account. Then click Sign In. 3. Accept SigFig s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by clicking Accept & Get Started. 4. Take our quick, 30-second tour of our new Portfolio. Then, you ll be taken to your Holdings view, where you can track and edit your investments. Please note: The next time you sign into Portfolios, you ll go straight to your Holdings view and won t have to do steps 3 and 4. 5

Today s Portfolio vs. Yesterday s Signing in as a Brand New User to Portfolios Our set-up is quick and easy. To start using Portfolios, follow the steps below: 1. Go to https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/ or if you re on DailyFinance.com, click Portfolios in the MyDailyFinance module on the top left corner where it says Register today. 2. Sign in either with your AOL account or your Facebook account. Then, click Sign In. 3. Accept SigFig s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by clicking Accept & Get Started. 4. Take our quick, 30-second tour of our new Portfolio. 5. Link your brokerage accounts by following the prompts. If you don t have any brokerage accounts or want to do a manual portfolio set-up, click the button at the bottom of the page to enter tickers manually. Then, you ll be taken to your Holdings view, where you can track and edit your investments. Please note: The next time you sign into Portfolios, you ll go straight to your Holdings view and won t have to do steps 3, 4 and 5. Problem Signing In If you have issues signing in with your AOL account, please check again that you entered your username and password correctly. If you need to reset your password, refer to this AOL Help page: http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/microsite.do?cmd=displaykc&doctype=kc&externalid=219092 Where to Find (Holdings, Recent Articles and Charts) If you were a Portfolio user before our Portfolio Upgrade, you know that our Portfolio tool provides you with a way to easily track your investments, but beyond that, it gives you market news and charts that help you analyze your portfolio performance. By understanding how our Portfolio pages have changed, you can get the most out of your upgraded experience. While we have refreshed the look and feel of our Portfolios, we have not taken away any of the features you re used to seeing in fact we ve added new features and insights, like interactive charts and our new Report Card tool. To accommodate for these new items, some things have shifted slightly on our pages. The next few pages will show you comparisons of our old and new landing pages, so you can see where things have moved, Remember, our 30-second tour of Portfolios is always available if you need to see it again. Today s Portfolio vs. Yesterday s Holdings Page - Closer Look The Holdings page, which contains your investment information, is the page you ll likely use most often. This is also the default landing page after signing into portfolios. There are various tabs, drop-down windows and symbols you can click here: A. Overview tab: Click this option to get to News & Movers and your portfolio s breakdown for the day. B. Holdings tab: Click this option to see the performance of your portfolio and stocks. C. Data Streaming toggle: Click this option to turn data streaming on and off. D. Charts tab: Click this option to see charts and graphs that will help you analyze your performance. E. Group by Account drop-down window: Click this option to group your holdings by account, brokerage, asset class or market cap. F. Summary View tab: Click this option to get your summary view. If you click the pencil symbol, you can specify which data you want to see. Next to the Summary View tab are other performance views. The tab on the end is what you would click to create a new view. G. Download link: Click this option to download your portfolio to Excel. H. Print All/Print link: Click this option to print your individual or overall portfolio performance. I. Edit link: Click this option to edit your portfolios. You can click the Settings button to edit portfolios. J. Report Card tab: Click this option to take your Risk Tolerance Questionnaire, which is the first step in analyzing your portfolio and comparing it against an optimal one. K. Asset Manager tab: Click this option to learn about SigFig s automated high-quality portfolio management service. L. Collapse All/Expand All link: Click this to collapse or expand all your portfolios or only certain ones. 11

Today s Portfolios Vs. Yesterday s Additional Views Available The default view is the Summary view, which is the same view that was available before we upgraded. You ll see the same metrics as you did before, which were Shares, Last Price, Net Change, Avg. Cost Basis, Value, Day Gain/Loss and % Gain/Loss. The other views available are the Performance View, Fundamentals View, Everything View and New View. The New View allows you to create a view that includes only the metrics you care about. Make sure to name your custom view and click Save after you select your metrics. To edit or remove a custom view, open the view and select the Remove View button. 12

How To/Instructions Below are the most common tasks performed in Portfolios. Make sure you are logged in for all of these tasks. If you don t see your task or issue, please reference the Frequently Asked Questions section on page 17. How to Print Portfolio Performance You can print your portfolio performance by following these steps: 1. Select the Holdings tab. 2. Click the Print All link to print your overall performance. You can also print your individual portfolios. How to Edit a Portfolio You can edit your portfolio by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Update your information. 3. Click Save. How to Edit No. of Shares in Manual Account You can edit your shares by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Click the Edit Transactions in the row of the Ticker you want to edit, which will open up a new screen, where you can edit your shares. 3. Update the number of shares and any other information. 4. Click Save. How to Edit a Cost Basis You can edit your cost basis by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Click the Edit Transactions in the row of the Ticker you want to edit, which will open up a new screen, where you can edit your information. 3. Update the transaction(s). 4. Click Save. How to Add Multiple Cost Basis for a Holding (only available for Manual Portfolios) You can add multiple lots, each with a difference cost basis by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Click the Edit Transactions in the row of the Ticker you want to edit, which will open up a new screen, where you can edit your information. 3. Click + Add a transaction and input your information. 4. Click Save. 13

How To/Instructions How to Add a Manual Portfolio You can set up a manual account by following these steps: 1. Click the + Add Portfolio green button on either the Overview or Holdings tab. 2. Select "Enter Tickers Manually." 3. Enter a name of this portfolio in the Portfolio Name field. 4. Input the ticker symbol(s) or fund(s) in the Add Holding field and enter Shares Owned, Price Paid per Share and Total Cost. 5. If applicable, enter a cash balance in the Cash Balance field. 6. Click Create Portfolio. How to Add a Brokerage Account/Sync an Account You can import a brokerage account by following these steps: 1. Click the + Add Portfolio green button on either the Overview or Holdings tab. 2. Enter your brokerage name into the search bar, click one of the brokerage buttons or select More Brokerages button to keep browsing. 4. Enter your credentials. 5. Select Connect. How to Add a Ticker Symbol/Holding to an Existing Manual Account You can add a ticker symbol/holding to an existing manual account by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Input the ticker symbol in the Add Holding field and enter Shares Owned and Avg Cost/Share. 3. Select Save. How to Add a Mutual Fund to an Existing Manual Account You can add a mutual fund to an existing manual account by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Input the fund symbol in the Add Holding field and enter Shares Owned and Avg Cost/Share. 4. Select Save. How to Delete a Manual Portfolio You can delete a manual account from your DailyFinance portfolio by following these steps: 1. Go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab. 2. Find the manual account you would like to delete and select Delete 3. Once you get the Are you sure? prompt, select Delete if you are sure you want to delete the account. 14

How To/Instructions How to Delete a Holding from Manual Portfolio You can delete a holding from a manual account by following these steps: 1. Once you ve selected the Holdings tab, go to the individual portfolio and select the Edit link (there s a pencil symbol next to it). You can also go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab and then select Edit Holdings. 2. Check the delete box for the holding you want to delete and click Save. 3. Hit the Confirm button if you want to delete that holding. How to Remove a Brokerage Account/Synced Account You can remove your brokerage account by following these steps: 1. Go to the Settings button on the Overview or Holdings tab. 2. Find the account you would like to delete and select Delete. 3. Frequently Asked Questions General Questions How do I get to my portfolio? Your portfolio is still located at the same URL: https://www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios/. The MyDailyFinance module also still lives in the same place: on the top left of all our pages. Remember that you must be signed in to see your portfolio. What browser is best to use to view my portfolio? All modern browsers are recommended. If you use Internet Explorer, we recommend IE9 or up. How are the portfolios ordered? Your synced accounts will show up first, followed by your manual accounts. Click the Expand All/Collapse All link (under the green +Add Portfolio) button. You can easily collapse or hide an account by selecting the portfolio. How can I sort my holdings? You can sort within each account, whether synced or manual. Your holdings can also be sorted by any of the data points shown, like Symbol, Shares, Net Change and so on. Simply click on the header to enable the sorting. To group your holdings by account, market cap, industry, or asset class, by using the Group Holdings by dropdown window. You can sort your holdings by data points. How come my ticker is not being recognized (I can t find/add a ticker symbol)? The most likely reason is because you are inputting an international ticker or preferred stock. Both international stocks and preferred stocks are no longer supported in our new Portfolios. However, if you had these stocks before our upgrade, you should see them in your account. Once you hit Delete after this prompt, your portfolio will be deleted. Please note: IF YOU DELETE A MANUAL PORTFOLIO, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECOVER YOUR DATA. If you deleted a synced account, you can add it back by going to Edit A Portfolio, selecting Add Portfolio, finding your brokerage account and entering your credentials again. Transition Questions I am unable to access/pull up my portfolio. You are most likely entering the wrong username or password when you re signing in. Double check you are entering the right credentials. If you need to reset your password, refer to this AOL Help page: http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/microsite.do?cmd=displaykc&doctype=kc&externalid=219092 I am missing data in my portfolio/my holdings have disappeared. The most common reason is expired or delisted holdings. International holdings and market indexes are also not supported in our new Portfolios experience. To compare your portfolio against market indexes, refer to the interactive performance chart on the Holdings page. How do I get the old DailyFinance view (the view before the upgrade)? When you go the Holdings tab after signing in, your default view is the Summary View, which is the old DailyFinance view. You will see all of the data points you were using to seeing: Shares, Last Price, Net Change (which is Today s Gain/Loss), Cost Basis/Share, Value, Gain/Loss (since purchase), %Gain/ Loss (since purchase) and % of Portfolio. How do I see all my accounts/portfolios at a high level? After signing in, make sure you are on the Tracking tab. To see our accounts at a high level, select the See breakdown dropdown at the top of the page. This will open up a black box which shows the balance and $/% change of all your accounts/portfolios. Select Hide Breakdown to close this box. How do I look at just one portfolio account vs. all my portfolios? You can collapse all or certain portfolios by clicking the Collapse All link (under the green +Add Portfolio) button. You can also expand all or certain portfolios. You can also specify which portfolios you want like to include in your total. The Include in Total column is in the under the Download All and Print All link. 18

Frequently Asked Questions How do I exclude a portfolio from my balance? On your holdings page, there is a box next to Include in Total. You can uncheck that to exclude any portfolios you don t want to include in your balance or total. I had put an index into my portfolio and it is showing up with no value. Importing an index into your portfolio is not supported in our new Portfolios, but our new and improved interactive performance chart allows you to compare your portfolio against all major indexes, even international ones. Please note: If you had the following indices in your portfolio before our upgrade, you will see those preserved in your account: S&P, Nasdaq and DJIA. I purchased new shares of the same holding. How do I add the second cost basis? You can do this for manual portfolios. Simply go to Edit A Portfolio and select Edit Holdings for the manual account you wish to update. Then, click the Edit Transactions button and select + Add a transaction. Fill in the fields and then make sure to click Save. I am not getting my daily or weekly portfolio performance emails. If you have not yet visited www.dailyfinance.com/portfolios since we launched our new Portfolios on 2/3, you will need to go there, sign in and accept the Terms of Service, which will automatically reinstate the email settings you had in place with the our old Portfolio experience. To check your email settings, go to "Edit a Portfolio" once you're logged in and then go to the My Profile tab. Make sure the boxes for the emails you want to receive are checked. If they are not, check them and click Save. To receive your portfolio reports Monday through Saturday, make sure you are opted into the Weekly Portfolio Briefing and Daily Stock Alert. 19

We have refreshed our portfolio emails to match our upgraded portfolio experience and philosophy of looking at your investments holistically. We have replaced the My Portfolios section (C below) with an Accounts section (E below), which gives you your Total Portfolio Value. Although we have removed Headline of the Day, you will still receive company and market news. These are the only big changes we have made. The rest of the information you enjoy from our daily and weekly reports are still available (they have just moved slightly): Old New A. Headline of the Day: The day s leading market story. B. Portfolio Movers: The top headlines with direct links to the articles about the stocks & companies you care about. C. Portfolio Update: A snapshot of your portfolios balance and the daily (or weekly) change. D. Top & Bottom Performers: Today s top gainers and losers from the stocks in your portfolio. E. Frequently Asked Questions Data Questions I have multiple positions in the same ticker. Where did they go? Stocks in which you have multiple positions are rolled up into a single entry. This is noted by a parenthesis next to the ticker symbol and a number inside that shows how many positions you have in that stock. In this image below, the user has 2 positions in the AOL stock. Please note: You must be in the Holdings view (within the Tracking tab) to see this. To edit these positions, click Edit This Portfolio and then, click the Edit Transactions button. Fill in the fields and then make sure to click Save. Will DailyFinance automatically update if my stock splits? No, it won t unless you have a synced account. To learn how to sync your brokerage account, refer to page 14. For manual accounts, you will have to make these adjustments manually by changing your purchase price. My recent transaction (selling/buying shares) is not appearing in my account. Official positions are updated each night. Brokerages update the information they provide us on a nightly basis. Your positions should be updated a day after the settlement of your trade. In some cases, it can take up to three days after the sell/buy. Why is there a difference between prices on Quotes page and Portfolios? There is sometimes a discrepancy because the ticker data on our Quotes pages is real-time, but the ticker data Portfolios may be delayed up to 15 minutes. Syncing/Brokerage Account Questions Are there benefits to syncing your brokerage accounts? Yes! Syncing your brokerage account means we can automatically pull in information from your brokers, which saves you from manually entering your holdings. This also means you ll get real time updates of your investment performance. Importing all your accounts into your DailyFinance Portfolio also means you won t have to sign into multiple brokerage sites. 21

Frequently Asked Questions How can I add a brokerage account? Refer to page 14 to get the steps for importing or syncing a brokerage account. I m having trouble syncing my brokerage account. What can I do? Here are common reasons why your brokerage account did not sync correctly: - Your login credentials may be entered incorrectly. Please make sure the credentials you are entering match the required fields. For example, some brokerages may require you enter your SSN instead of your username as the login. - Your login credentials may have recently been changed. If you are receiving a "Failed to Update" message next to your account and you have recently changed your brokerage login or password, please update these credentials in your portfolio (refer to page 23). - Your brokerage currently does not make your account type available to DailyFinance Portfolio. - Your brokerage is not supported. - You are an international user. Please note: DailyFinance Portfolio does not support brokerage accounts outside the United States at this time. Please note: DailyFinance Portfolio does not support brokerage accounts outside the United States at this time. How do I add or delete a holding to/from a synced brokerage account? You cannot add or delete holdings from an account that is synced with a brokerage. You will have to do that on your brokerage account. If you buy or sell a position, this change should appear on DailyFinance a day after the settlement of your trade. In some case, it can take up to three days after the sell/buy. To hide any of your synced accounts, go to Edit A Portfolio and simply uncheck any of accounts you want to hide. 22

Frequently Asked Questions I changed the password on my brokerage account. How do I update this on my DailyFinance portfolio? First, go to Edit A Portfolio and click Edit (not Edit Holdings ) next to the brokerage account you wish to update. This will enable you to update your credentials. Make sure to click Update after you enter in your Login ID and password. How can I remove a brokerage account? You can remove your brokerage account on DailyFinance Portfolios by going to Edit A Portfolio and selecting delete on the account you wish to delete. Once you hit Delete after this prompt, your portfolio will be deleted. Please note: If you deleted a brokerage account from DailyFinance Portfolios, you can add it back by going to Edit A Portfolio, selecting + Add Portfolio, finding your brokerage account and entering your credentials again. Mobile App Why am I not able to see my portfolio? We pushed an update to our mobile app on 2/6. You should have received a message to download the latest version of the app (Version 2.0). Please update to this new version so you can see your portfolios and/or make any updates. What ios is recommended for the mobile app? ios 6 or higher. I am a Kindle or Blackberry user and no longer able to use my mobile app. We have ended our support of DailyFinance Portfolios on your devices. Once you take the questionnaire, select the prompt to confirm your optimal portfolio and you will receive an analysis like below: To get to Report Card, sign into Portfolios and select the Report Card tab, located above the Asset Manager tab. If you would like to try the new SigFig Asset Manager (SigFig s automated high-quality portfolio manager) after reviewing your analysis, you can click that button. New Asset Manager Asset Manager is the name for SigFig s automated portfolio management service. If you would like the professionals at SigFig to manage your portfolio or a part of your portfolio, this feature is for you.
