Part 1: Introduction 1.1 Field of application Spare parts and accessories included in this catalogue can be applied for the PRIMAX falling weight deflectometers as well as for earlier versions (PRI2100 ). The spare parts list contains components which through normal tear and wear should be expected to need replacements. The accessories, we have listed, are equipment which could enhance the performance of your FWD. For operation of the falling weight deflectometer we refer to our User Manual. 3.6 Safety equipment Beam with flash lights Beam to be mounted on towing vehicle Safety signboard The safety signboard is recommended for use in general and on roads with heavy traffic in particular. It is a flip-up LED panel with high brightness and visible from long distances. The LED panel has diagonal arrow and cross function thanks to its innovative high-intensity, low consumption LED lights. The signboard is controlled from a remote control, which controls all functions such as raising/lowering of the board and the direction of indicators (lamps and sign). 3.7 Electronic hardware Video camera and monitor Video camera and monitor (black/white) to be mounted on trailer and car, for accurate location over concrete slab joints Grontmij A/S, Pavement Consultants Page 14
