According to UNESCO e- Goernance is the pubic sector s use of information and communication technoogies with the aim of improing information and serice deiery, encouraging citizen participation in the decisionmaking process and making goernment more accountabe, transparent and effectie. In India, the Nationa e- Goernance Pan (NeGP) enisioned to make a Goernment serices accessibe to the common man in his ocaity and to ensure efficiency, transparency & reiabiity of such serices at affordabe costs to reaise the basic needs of the common man.
