Teacher Externships Program began in 2007 with 13 teachers and has grown to approximately 40 teachers per year. 2010 Teacher Externs and their business partners. Teachers participated in a week-long externship experience. Teachers spent a 40-hour week at a worksite and spent two days writing lesson activities to integrate workplace needs into the curriculum.
