1. WINS ACADEMY CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME SIGN-UP 1. You can sign up for the WINS Academy programme by visiting the WINS Academy section of the WINS website www.wins.org/academy and following the directions to sign up. Alternatively, click on the following link to access the WINS storefront: http://www.mindhub.co.uk/category_s/109.htm. 2. From the WINS Storefront (Mindhub), select the product you are interested in (picture 1.1). The system will direct you to a new site where you need to accept the privacy policy, add the product to your cart, and check out of your shopping cart when you are finished shopping. 1.1 PAGE 2
1. WINS ACADEMY CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME SIGN-UP 3. On your shopping cart page, fill in the necessary fields and verify your order for accuracy, and then click on Proceed to checkout (picture 1.2). You will be directed to a new site and asked to fill in the billing information. The Shipping Rates field should indicate Online Delivery/No Shipping. 1.2 4. Save or print your receipt. Access codes and exam voucher codes will be sent to you by email. Please note that the access codes for each elearning module will be sent. The exam voucher codes will be sent together with a slight delay (up to three hours). Once you receive your access codes, you will need to create a Pearson Education Account to access the elearning material. NOTE Participants who have received a scholarship for the certification programme do not need to go through the process of product purchasing as they will receive their access codes and exam voucher codes directly from WINS via email. If you registered before, skip the procedure below and scroll down to page 5 of this document where you will find further instructions. 1. Click on the following link: https://register.pearsoncmg.com/reg/register/reg1.jsp (also provided in the email containing your access codes, under Instructions ). 2. Accept the License Agreement and Privacy Policy terms. 3. Create a Pearson Education account by choosing your Login Name, Password, and entering the Access code received by email or provided by WINS (for participants who received a scholarship). School location: country, school name (if not applicable, select Other ), school city c. Security question: choose a security question you can easily remember 2.2 5. Print or save your Confirmation and Summary receipt. You will need to provide the information included in this receipt to the customer services team if you encounter a problem in the future. PAGE 5

Consult the email you received upon registration and which contains your elearning Access Codes to know your course ID. 2.3 8. Click on "Enroll in a Course", select a course and enter the Course ID to access your elearning materials and begin your study. The course you have registered for will then appeared in "My Courses and Testbanks" (in this case the Elective Module for Scientists, Technicians and Engineers). (picture 2.4) 2.4 PAGE 6

In each unit, you will find an introduction, 1 to 5 sections, and a unit quiz to test your knowledge. 10. Click on a unit and it will open in a pop-up window. Each pop-up window contains the learning material for one unit. In addition to the learning content and the associated illustrations, each unit includes recommendations for further reading (required and optional) as well as, in almost all cases, one or more case study and/or assignment. Because this is a self-study course, assignments will not be graded. However, we encourage you to complete them as they will help you to prepare for the exam. ALREADY REGISTERED? Please follow the procedure below if you have already registered for another Module (and have a Pearson Education account): 1. Click on the following link: https://register.pearsoncmg.com/ reg/register/reg1.jsp (also provided in the email containing your access codes, under Instructions). 2. Accept the License Agreement and Privacy Policy terms. 3. Select Yes to the question Do you have a Pearson Education account? and enter your Login Name and Password as chosen when you first registered. 4. Verify your Account Information. 5. Print or save your Confirmation and Summary receipt. 6. Click on Log in Now 7. Under My Courses and Testbanks, click on Enroll in a Course, select your course and enter your Course ID. 8. You can now access your course and begin your studies NOTE The system requires about 10 to 15 minutes to process your registration. If nothing happens after clicking on the course you would like to access in the My Courses and Testbanks, kindly wait and try again after 15 minutes. Alternatively, try to access the course through the link provided in the Registration Confirmation Email sent by the Pearson Product Support to the email address you provided when registering: http://mylabs.px.pearsoned.com Note that this email also contains your Account and Order IDs. Click on: http://www.pearsonvue.com/wins/ (this link is available on the Academy section of the WINS website, under Book an exam). 2. Register as a first-time visitor and click on Create an account. 3. HOW TO BOOK AN EXAM 5. Once your account is created, you will be directed to a new webpage where you can select your WINS Exams. Choose your WINS Exam in the Exam Catalog by clicking on it. (picture 3.4) 3.4 6. In the next window, verify the Exam Details and confirm your Exam Selection by clicking on Schedule this Exam. If you plan on taking more than one exam and would like to book them back to back, select the Add another exam to take on the same day option. If you experience any problems registering, start over and book each exam individually. (picture 3.5) 3.5 PAGE 11
3. HOW TO BOOK AN EXAM 7. Proceed to scheduling your exam (picture 3.6): a. Search for and choose your preferred test centre by clicking on it and then click next. b. Choose an appointment by clicking on the preferred date and time. c. Verify your order in the next window by clicking on Proceed to Checkout. 3.6 PAGE 12

When you proceed to the checkout you must confirm the personal information you provided, agree to the policies and enter payment (you will redeem your exam voucher code here to reduce the displayed price to 0) before finally submitting your order. If you cannot find your exam voucher code(s), contact PVEMEAMindhub@Pearson.com for assistance. (picture 3.7) 3.7 9. Save and print the confirmation receipt (it will also be sent to you by email). NOTE Detailed information on the policies for taking exams at the test centres will be available during the registration process and in the exam registration confirmation email you will receive after booking. Note that you need to be at the testing venue at least 15 minutes before the examination time and will need to present a valid ID (with picture). To ensure that you can take your exam, we recommend bringing 2 forms of ID, one of which should ideally be your passport. PAGE 13
