Lajos Veszeli Painter He was born in 1945. Mr. Veszeli graduated at the Teacher Training Faculty of Szombathely College, specialized in drawing. Later he studied aesthetics in Budapest. He had been working for 12 years as a drawing artist and editor of fine arts for the county daily Veszprémi Napló, and as a managing and arts editor of the arts monthly Új Balaton. He has been a free-lance painter since 1992. He is regular participant to exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. For more than a decade he spent and worked two months each year in Greece. He has been living and working in Balatonalmádi. Genius loci, i.e., the protective spirit of the place has influenced his art. His present exhibition reflects the phenomena of his closer vicinity through ethereal watercolour paintings. His flat plastic paintings prepared in a special technique have continuously commanded spectators interest. István Jager Graphic artist He was born in Veszprém, Hungary, in 1955. Between 1970 and 74 at Thuri György Secondary Grammar School his drawing tutor was Gábor Újhelyi. Mr. Jager graduated in 1979 at the Teacher Training College of Szombathely (Hungary) as a teacher of Mathematics and Drawing. His tutors were János Horváth and János Szurcsik. Jager goes back to the simplest elements of the tongue of plasticity and builds up his own language from it. What features this system is the projection of points, lines, patches, values and simple geometrical forms (circle, square, triangle) on plain surfaces within an extremely precise composition. From these apparently simple forms Jager shapes his plastic message. Since 1996 he is member of the Society of Hungarian Artists, in 1999 he became member of the Society of Hungarian Graphic Designers. Jager appears in numerous exhibitions in Hungary and abroad and holds several prizes and awards. Zoltán Szabó László Autodidact Sculptor Z. Szabó László was born in 1941 in Györ, Hungary and attended his primary schools there. He has been living in Vöröstó, a small village in the Balaton Highlands. Besides making and restoring fine, inlaid furniture, he creates sculptures of wood and stone. He joined the Veszprém County Art Guild more than ten years ago. He appeared at a number of individual and collective exhibitions. Eleven of his sculptures are erected on public areas in Hungary, Finland and Argentina. Mr. Szabó took part on about 40 domestic and international sculpture symposiums - among others - in Argentina, Italy, Germany, Finland and France, several times. He organized 14 international stone sculpture symposiums in the Balaton region (Balatonfüred, Tihany and Vöröstó).

Ferenc Kisnémeth Painter, Graphic Artist, Photographer He was born March 10, 1955 in Szombathely, Hungary. Since as early as 1960 he was student of painter Istvan Jaksa. Between 1970 and 1974 he studied at the Secondary School of Fine and Applied Art. He graduated at the Hungarian College of Applied Art, Typography in 1981. He is Member of MAOE (National Association of Hungarian Creative and Industrial Artists) since 1981, and the Veszprém Art Guild since 2012. His artistic activity complies painting, graphic work, illustration, book design, photography, advertisement design and music. His main awards: Advertisement design: 1992 Gold Pegasus, 1993 Bronze Pegasus, 1994 Bronze Pegasus, 1995 Bronze Pegazus, 1996, Gold Pegasus, 2002 EFFIE (with peer designers of Hat Reklám ) 2013 I. Water-Mark International Fine Art Biennale special award of Rotary Club He is regular participant of many major collective exhibitions nationwide.

Janka Major Sculptor She was born in Keszthely, Hungary on 11 December 1987. She studied at the Hungarian Academy of fine Arts, between 2006 and 2012, majoring sculpture. Her master was Mr. Pál Kö. Awards: Hungarofest competition 2nd place 2011th SZÉPMA Foundation Scholarship 2011th She appeared in many major exhibitions and several workshops nationwide. Csanád Beretvás Sculptor Born in Budapest in 1973. Stone and wood sculptor. He mades statues, embossments, ornamental pieces and articles for personal use. He exhibits since 1998. He has 10 statues in public places. He had 25 individual exhibitions, and participated in more than 100 collective exhibitions. His works are natural, organic forms, sometimes conceived from an unusual point of view. He participated in symposiums in Hungary, Romania, Italy, Slovakia and Germany. Erika Illés Sculptor Ms. Illés became a certified restaurateur a year after finishing her secondary school, in 1986. In 1991 she attended the Salzburg Summer Academy in Austria, her master there was Costa Radovani. She graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, in 1996. In 2010 she gained a postgraduate diploma on Art-therapy at the Medical and Art Faculty of the University of Pécs, Hungary. Illés appeared on many individual and collective exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. Nine of her statues are exhibited on public areas in West Hungary. Erika Illés has been living in a scenic, small village of Nemeskocs, Western Hungary.

Péter Baky Painter He was born on 29.11.1950, in Budapest. Between 1965 and 69 he attended the Hungarian Secondary School of Visual Arts. He graduated at the Hungarian University (Academy) of Fine Arts in 1978. He was admitted to the National Association of Hungarian Creative Artists in 1977. Among others, he is also member of the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists, the Association of Hungarian Graphic Artists, the Society of Hungarian Painters, and the Veszprém County Art Guild. Between 1993 and 2012 he was Director of the Szekszárd House of Arts; in the meantime, between 1995-2010, Art Director of the Ferencváros Basement Gallery in Budapest. His first individual exhibition took place in 1980, followed by many others both at home and abroad. He is regular participant of the national art shows and tenders. He has headed several Art Colonies from 1990 to 2005. He organised/acted as curator of several national and international exhibitions. A number of his works are displayed at public institutions, in public collections. László Fábián Graphic Artist Fabian was born August 8, 1951 in Balatonszemes Hungary. He graduated in 1977 at the Pécs Teacher Training College as teacher of Geography and Drawing. His talent as graphic artist has been appealed during the College years. He took part and won prizes at College and national competitions and exhibitions. After three years of teaching in Balatonalmádi he was appointed as Director of the Elementary School No. 1 in Balatonalmádi. In this position he has been enjoying the confidence of the Board of Representatives as well as the parents and fellow teachers for more than three decades. As a teacher in Drawing and Graphic Art he showed example of openness in methodology and progressive approach. As Graphic Artist he organized local exhibitions and art shows by which he did his utmost for the reputation of the city of Balatonalmádi. Since 2010 he is also editor in chief of the periodical Új Almádi Újság (New Almádi Magazine)
