This new park was created by interweaving the industrial architecture of the more than 100 years old Ganz Electromechanical Works with modern exhibition spaces and cultural functions. 4 written projects conception to conclusion following through of the study from conception to conclusion The nuclear power plant in Paks, in the middle of Hungary, will be the object of a study tour. In 1938 Hahn and Strassmann discovered nuclear fission and in 1942 the first nuclear fission reactor was patented by Enrico Fermi and Leo Szilárd. Since then the nuclear industry was developed. Using these scientific results, the nuclear power plant in Paks was built supplying 40% of the electricity production in Hungary. The reliability of the most important safety systems in Paks conforms to Western European norms (WENRA).
