DETAILED OVERVIEW EXECUTIVE MBA VS. EXECUTIVE MASTERS (MSC.) The program s curriculum as an Executive MBA with 60% MBA core and 40% Supply Chain Management course content provides the best fit for the learning needs of both general management and supply chain executives. The supply chain education is global, integrated, and holistically focused unlike other programs which emphasize specific supply chain functions (e.g. warehousing, operations, transportation). RETURN ON INVESTMENT Sponsoring companies expect a return on their investment in executive education and The Global Supply Chain Executive MBA delivers on that expectation. As an integral part of the program each student has a Corporate Action Project (CAP) which is conducted in his/her sponsoring organization. The Corporate Action Project has two major objectives: (1) A professional growth experience for the student and (2) A value-added output of significant scale and scope for the sponsoring organization. Although not a requirement, we prefer the project be supply chain focused. Significant opportunities include supply chain strategy, organization, cost or efficiency issues, functional expertise, performance, sustainability, and risk management. We expect the projects to result in a minimum return of USD 1 million (a 10x return on the educational investment) within 1-3 years of project completion. GLOBAL CAMPUS The Global Supply Chain Executive MBA offers prospective students the unique opportunity for learning and development afforded by a global campus and faculty. Our students study at five locations in the world including Latin America, Western Europe, Central/ Eastern Europe, Asia, and North America. The focus is global business, the supply chain requirements of global business, and the unique leadership challenges that result from global business. Each residency period is structured to include specific course content, applied learning, a leadership development module (as a part of the Transnational Leader Program), and integrated cultural activities. Applied learning includes guest speakers and direct engagements with governments, companies, and other organizations to allow students to explore and understand the key issues that are relevant to business and supply chain performance. The focus of the program is global but the reality is that many issues must be understood at the regional and local levels. The partner institutions in this program bring extensive experience in business and executive education. Locations for this program were selected to emphasize key geographic regions, significant economies, and strategic supply chain locations.
