Prerequisites for Creating and Using the ezpay Secure Order Form Wizard Using the ezpay Wizard requires only basic computer skills. Anyone who can use a Web browser can use the ezpay Secure Order Form Wizard to generate the HTML code snippet for insertion into the Merchant s Web site. However, inserting the HTML code snippet and testing the ezpay Secure Order Form does require a few additional skills and prerequisites, as described below: 1. You, (the Merchant) or someone performing the steps on your behalf, must have basic HTML editing and authoring skills to insert the HTML code snippet into your Web site s HTML code and test its operation. These are basic skills only and can easily be learned. 2. You must have an active Skipjack Account to submit transactions requests to the Skipjack Transaction Network for processing. You can obtain your Skipjack Account by calling (888) 368-8507 x1. A Skipjack Customer Support Representative will provide you with a Skipjack Account and send you an e-mail confirmation message with all required account information and credentials. This confirmation message will include the following: HTML Serial Number: Required to submit transactions to the Skipjack Transaction Network using the ezpay Secure Order Form. Vendor Login Serial Number, Username, and Password: Required for Secure Login using the Web interfaces at https://secure.skipjack.com (Used to access Reports Manager and Merchant Register). 3. You also require a Merchant Account from the financial institution(s) of your choice for each credit card type you want to accept (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, Discover). If you already have an existing Merchant Account for credit and PIN-less debit cards you may be able to use this account(s). Contact your Merchant Account provider (Financial Institution) for specific details and any account changes required to process transactions using the ezpay Secure Order Form. If you do not already have a Merchant Account and require guidance, contact Skipjack Financial Services for more information on obtaining a Merchant Account. Note: To obtain a new Merchant Account you will need to provide detailed business information. Processing your application may take several weeks and is outside of the control of Skipjack Financial Services. Consider this timeline when adding the ezpay Secure Order Form to your Web site. Using the ezpay Wizard to Create an ezpay Secure Order Form This section describes how to use the ezpay Wizard to create an ezpay Secure Order Form (and ezpay Buy Button) for use in your Web site. 1. You create your customized ezpay Secure Order Form by using the ezpay Wizard. The ezpay Wizard is a Web-based HTML form (along with on-line Help page) available from the URL https://vpos.skipjack.com/ezpay/setup.asp. Enter this address into your browser s address field to access the ezpay Wizard. 2. Enter the correct information into each field using the text boxes and drop-down lists on the ezpay Wizard form. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*) beside each applicable field. Required fields must contain a value (text). Page 8 of 28
Note 1: Help is available for the ezpay Wizard by selecting the red help link at the top of the Wizard form or by selecting the red question mark (?) beside each section. Note 2: You must enter your HTML Serial Number into the HTML Serial Number field. Your Merchant Account setup confirmation e-mail from Skipjack Financial Services contains your HTML Serial Number. Note 3: To create a Donation Button follow all the steps above, however you will enter 0.00 in the Product Price field. This allows the Customer to enter any value they wish to donate in the ezpay Secure Order Form. 3. Select the Generate ezpayform Code button at the bottom of the ezpay Wizard to submit the form for processing and generate the HTML code snippet. Any Required text fields that have been left empty will display an error pop-up window, as shown in the example below. Note any errors, select OK on the pop-up window, and correct the errors in the ezpay Wizard. Once corrected, select the Generate ezpayform Code button to resubmit the information. Page 9 of 28
4. The window below is displayed upon successful generation of the HTML code snippet based on the information entered in the ezpay Wizard form. Select the Copy Code to Clipboard button to copy the HTML code to the clipboard. A pop-up window is displayed confirming the snippet was copied to the clipboard. Click OK on the popup window. You can now paste the HTML code snippet into either your text editor (such as Notepad) and save the text file for later use, or paste the HTML code snippet directly into your Web page HTML code. Note: Skipjack Financial Services suggest that you use Notepad as your text editor otherwise the HTML code may be altered slightly and this may interfere with the correct appearance and functionality of the ezpay Buy Button on your Web page. Page 10 of 28
5. Select the Test ezpay Form button. A separate window is displayed containing the ezpay Secure Order Form. Note the URL (Web address) and yellow padlock in the browser indicate a secure order form (SSL/HTTPS) hosted from the Skipjack Transaction Network. An example of the ezpay Secure Order Form created is shown below. Page 11 of 28
6. Double-check that all the information in the ezpay Secure Order Form fields is correct and there are no typos in any of the field names. Remember, this is the Order Form that your Customers will see when the HTML code is inserted in your Web page. If you are satisfied with the ezpay Secure Order Form, proceed to the next step. If you note any errors that must be corrected, close the window which opened in step 5. Select the Return to Setup Form button to return to the ezpay Wizard (as described in Step 2, above) and enter the correct text into each field. Repeat Step 4, above, and all subsequent steps as appropriate. Page 12 of 28
7. You can test the functioning of the ezpay Secure Order Form by selecting the Test ezpay Form button. Enter test transaction data into each of the text fields for Required and any desired Optional fields. Select the Process Order button to submit the test transaction data (Order information) to the Skipjack Transaction Network for processing. An example of a completed test transaction is illustrated below. Note 1: You MUST enter a valid Credit Card Number, Expiry Date, and CVV codes (if Required) to submit the form data to the Skipjack Transaction Network for processing, otherwise an error pop-up window is displayed, as shown below. Page 13 of 28
Note 2: You can obtain a Test Credit Card number from Skipjack Financial Services or use a real (Live) credit card to test the functioning of the ezpay Secure Order Form. If using a Live credit card you can use a small transaction amount and Delete (Void) the transaction using Merchant Services Register (Transaction Register) before it is Settled to prevent the card from being charged. Click on the Return to Setup Form button in Step 4 to Edit the form. Please note that you should not use test credit card numbers on a Skipjack Production account. Similarly, Live credit cards should not be used on a Development (Test) account, since they will Authorize (but will not Settle). 8. Transaction processing takes a few seconds to complete. If your Response URL is set correctly, your browser window will refresh to display the Status of the test transaction submitted for processing. The illustration below show a typical Approved transaction. Note: If at this point your Browser refreshes and displays a blank (empty) Web page, it means the settings in the ezpay Wizard for Response URL are incorrect and pointing to Page 14 of 28
a non-existent web page. Correct this by editing the Response URL field in the ezpay Wizard as described in Step 2 of Using the ezpay Wizard to Create an ezpay Secure Order Form. 9. If no errors are noted (Response URL displayed is correct) the HTML code snippet is now ready to be pasted into your Web site s HTML code. Normally the HTML code snippet would be inserted beside the description of the product or service offered for sale. Customers will select this button to display your customized ezpay Secure Order Form, created above. 10. Repeat steps 1-9 for each ezpay Buy Button required. Page 15 of 28
Editing a Previously Created and Saved HTML Code Snippet If you have copied and saved an HTML code snippet created by the ezpay Wizard into your Web site or saved it to a local text file, you can edit the HTML snippet, as described below, at any time. Using this editing method is a time saving way to update ezpay Secure Order Forms without having to recreate the entire ezpay Secure Order Form from scratch. This allows quicker ezpay Secure Order Form changes. To use the ezpay Wizard Editor: 1. In your Web browser enter https://vpos.skipjack.com/ezpay/decrypt.asp in the address field or select the here in the To Edit an existing ezpay Order Form click here to display the ezpay Secure Editor window, shown below. Page 16 of 28
2. Open the source document which contains the HTML code snippet you want to edit. This may be a text file you saved earlier or the HTML code copied directly from your Web site. Copy the entire HTML code to the clipboard. A sample HTML code snippet is shown below. <!-- Start of the "ezpay Order Form" code --> <form name="button" action="https://vpos.skipjack.com/ezpay/order.asp" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="skipjack" value="lbyawtvsbv9kmhtgmw5tsklk9qhzhfzugfcz+dkbi6q/yiftjljo40dchim8wfkndbwnhe/vi++8 ckbhstg2atsbznsznxlmaiacx0fc3yfr81wxroqus+qkkwya6rnclwbd29cvz/vpdy45j+5opvykn2lntgv irnqohpk64i8kdt3vvuvdffntcsgwvffhppqblx2psien1baahaxcywwpdgrxd5fsg8s6bifmnz5ecyhkzc cdv8xqxqjvbknlhk1vojlluyyuw9lxctintvq2lqtlbghcztdge6jozznzwa77fztiau32hdwltfpysazns 0INQ51VyY8rQU08XzXY2U0xi6+GWBgFrh6cfAv9Ew+95ngiO2vPvcCEYJAVnN1tmfs8YTwP4S4TSNxQJqCr glv4gubkkhykslw7d1dzsjlomldwz3cd5xg9z4xvohikbzqgkm5y1myzypxqtovi9ecdiyk/eidll0ipx0d ltaywmgkltps6t+ro24h4t3ivlqsrd7kzat4dc2ypmdg2ftiqt9p+ad4la9gwgg4vukta/y3byiash4ak5a jfi8xohwhjrhlnfz6ncaoosbfq8qlp+7io996mwcalezng/hia6d0skporeyborcu2bgr38qsbstsjj/llc JtLw8hgAv4lI3v8At9R5FLZ5BBLIQgk0xkQhYGX/MaIckRXSIZfvAhZaCS5jy1pz+BN21SNWGs2q7Kl7X7Y jozzhk215shzvpaokadw2c4algzdoeau+/++87+oghtkw/4om5wv4yjfexqhpvrrhytalokxfozoqopu6rx cjqq+tcyuxli6xyk2ujgvpdbcttizcnfxh0x8khjs0cwjwkrnacw=" /> <input type="hidden" name="ezpay" value="b2+qvpbfowcl0qgpzwe5n/fkglsq4ljof8h7uwjy5ho=" /> <input type="hidden" name="creator" value="cyda7sjh3vqgykvqnmytna==" /> <input type="submit" name="button" value="click Here to Buy Now" /> </form> <!-- End of the "ezpay Order Form" code --> 3. Paste the HTML code snippet into the text field and select the Edit Button button. Note: You must include all of the ezpay HTML code snippet for this editor to perform the edit properly. You will see a redirection notice and a copy of your ezpay Buy Button displayed in your browser. This is normal behavior for the Editor. You browser window will refresh automatically. The (brief) redirect message is shown below. Page 17 of 28
4. In the ezpay Wizard form displayed, note that the HTML Serial Number and Response URL text fields are empty. You must re-enter this information. Edit all other fields that you want to change. Note: All spaces in the text fields have been removed. Before resubmitting this form, ensure that each text field has the proper spaces between each word. 5. Submit the ezpay Wizard form by selecting the Generate ezpay Form Code button. The changes entered into the ezpay Wizard will be displayed in the updated (edited) version of the form. Page 18 of 28
6. You can test or edit your ezpay Secure Order Form as described previously in the Using the ezpay Wizard to Create an ezpay Secure Order Form procedure. An example of a blank ezpay Secure Order Form that is displayed after selecting the Test ezpay Form is shown below. When you are satisfied with the results of your edited ezpay Secure Order Form, copy the HTML code snippet to the clipboard. You can paste the HTML code snippet into a text editor such as Notepad and save it as a text file (recommended) or paste it directly into your Web page HTML code. 7. The HTML code snippet inserted into your Web page HTML code creates the following button. Customers will select this button to display your customized ezpay Secure Order Form. Page 19 of 28
Adding an ezpay Buy Button to your Web Site Once you have used the ezpay Wizard to create an ezpay Secure Order Form and have copied the HTML code snippet to the Clipboard (or to a text file) you can paste the HTML code snippet into your Web site HTML source code, as described below. 1. If you have saved the HTML code snippet as a text file, open the text file and select the HTML code snippet. Copy the entire code snippet onto the clipboard. 2. Find the correct location in your Web site s HTML code where you wish to locate the ezpay Buy Button and paste the HTML source code snippet into place. Typically this would be pasted next to the description of the product or service offered for sale. 3. Save the changes to your Web page using your HTML editor to save the ezpay Buy Button to your Web site. 4. Open the updated Web page in a browser window. You should see the new ezpay Buy Button displayed on your Web page in the desired location. 5. Select the ezpay Buy Button to test it. Testing your ezpay Secure Order Form and Order Process The ezpay Secure Order Form you created previously (as described in the Using the ezpay Wizard to Create an ezpay Secure Order Form section) is now ready for testing. This section lists some important testing and usage considerations. 1. Review the information displayed on your ezpay Secure Order Form carefully for typographical errors and other incorrect information. Remember, this is the form that your Customers see when they place their order. If you have copied the HTML code snippet you can change it by pasting it into the ezpay Wizard at https://vpos.skipjack.com/ezpay/decrypt.asp, and as described in the section Editing a Previously Created and Saved HTML Code Snippet. 2. Process test transactions using a credit card and/or debit test card. Test credit card numbers may be obtained from Skipjack Financial Services upon request. 3. For each transaction check that the Response Page is correctly displayed for each transaction. Ensure that all the information in your Custom response Page is accurate and conveys the desired information to your customers. 4. Check the e-mail response message sent to Customers by entering your own e-mail address into the e-mail field. 5. Review the results of transactions submitted using the Skipjack Merchant Services Register (Transaction Register). For information about the use of the Transaction Register, see the Using the Skipjack Reports Manager for more details. Note: You may want to add a note on your Web site to advise your Customers that the ezpay Secure Order Form that is used in ordering a product or service from your Web site will change to the Skipjack Financial Services (hosted) URL. This should alleviate any concerns about security and reassure your Customers who notice a change in the URL. Page 21 of 28
