Initial Logon Please save our website www.windriverfinancial.com to your favorites for easy access to e- Connections going forward. Place your cursor over Client Resources at the top of our home page and select Merchant Reporting. Then click on Click here to login. If you scroll down to the bottom of the Merchant Reporting page, there is a short 2 minute training video on how to access your monthly statements. Note: You will need adobe flash to view this video. If you do not have this component, you can download it for free here. o You must use Internet Explorer as your browser to successfully access the system and all available screens. Enter your e-connections user name which was e-mailed to you. There are 2 types of user names. A single MID user name gives you access to only one merchant account. If you have more than one merchant account, you may have an association-level user name set up for you, which would allow you to access any of your merchant accounts, using one user name. o Your user name will be deactivated if e-connections is not accessed within 60 days of the initial user name generation (or ongoing within 60 days of the previous logon). o If you are deactivated please call 1-866-804-7725, option 1 to be reactivated. 4
Initial Logon Cont d Enter your temporary password which was e-mailed to you. Please note the literals below the password in the e-mail to avoid confusion for example between 0 (zero) and O (capital O). o It is recommended to copy the starter password directly from the e-mail and paste it into e- Connections, with no extra spaces before or after the password. o It is also recommended NOT to have Windows remember your password if your computer prompts you to do this. o If you have issues logging on to e-connections or are locked due to 3 or more failed password attempts, please call 1-866-804-7725, option 1 to be unlocked and receive assistance with your logon. 5
Terms Of Use Read through the Terms Of Use, click on I Accept and click on Submit. 6
Password, Personal Assurance Message And Security Answers Set up your new password, personal assurance message and answers to your security questions. o Your password must be between 8 and 10 characters and contain at least one numeric and one alpha character and no special characters (such as @). o You will be prompted to establish a new password every 60 days for security purposes. o The Personal Assurance Message will appear on your screens when logged on to e-connections to verify that you are on the e-connections site. 7
Main Menu Drop-Down Single Merchant Account Access Place your cursor over Links, then Other e-connections to view your screen menu. o If your user name gives you access to a single merchant account, you will have 3 screen options. Clearing & Settlement (post-settlement transaction information delayed by 2 business days) On-line Merchant Statements Authorization & Capture (authorization and captured transaction information real-time) 8
Merchant Statements Merchant Statement Summary Screen Single Merchant Account Access Select On-line Merchant Statements from your main drop-down screen menu (see page 8). The Merchant Statement Summary screen will open in a separate window. You will have access to the 6 most recent statements generated on your account. Click on the date of the statement you would like to view. The selected monthly statement will also open in a separate window. 9

Authorization & Capture Single Merchant Account Access Only To view details of your authorizations and captured transactions, select Authorization & Capture from your main drop-down menu. If your user name gives you access to more than one merchant account (association-level), you will not have this screen option. The authorization screen represents information pertaining to the initial approval or deline you receive when you process your transactions. When you receive an approval for an authorization, you are holding funds for the dollar amount of the transction on the card used. The capture screen represents information pertaining to the settlement of your approved authorizations. Settlement of authorizations changes the pending authorization to a posted transaction on the card used. The deposit timeframe of your Visa, MasterCard and Discover transactions is 2 business days from the date you settle your authorizations. If you accept American Express, those transactions will be deposited separately, by American Express. o If you have questions regarding your American Express deposits, you may contact American Express directly at 800-528-5200. 11
Authorization & Capture Cont d Inquiry Drop-Down Menu Single Merchant Account Access Only The Daily Summary screen defaults on the current date, displaying a summary of that date s authorization and capture activity. Select a date withing the past 12 months to view the summary information. Click on to the right of the Date field to update the information when selecting a new date. You may also view detail of your authorizations and captured transactions. Place your cursor over Inquiry to access the drop-down menu. o Select Authorization to view activity that pertains to initial approvals, declines, or pending authorizations. o Select Capture to view activity that pertains to settled transactions or batches. 12
Authorization & Capture Cont d Authorization Inquiry Screen Single Merchant Account Access Only To view authorizations, select Authorization in the Inquiry drop-down menu (see page 11). View up to 7 days of authorizations (maximum of 1000 authorizations) at a time, going back 12 months. The End Date and the number entered into the Day(s) field determine the date which defaults in the Start Date. Click on to the right of the Day(s) field to view your information. Scroll to the right to see additional columns of information. You will see a 6-digit code in the Auth Number column for all approved authorizations. If the Auth Number field is blank, the authorization was declined. Click on the column headers to reorganize the rows of data. Click on the Consumer Account Number to view detail of that authorization. o The cardholder s name is not displayed anywhere in e-connections. 13
Authorization & Capture Cont d Capture Inquiry Screen Single Merchant Account Access Only To view captured transactions, select Capture in the Inquiry drop-down menu (page 11). This screen allows you access to detail of your settled batches. You can access up to 30 days of settled batches at a time, going back in time 12 months. Be sure the BACMST radio button is highlighted. The End Date and the number of days entered in the Day(s) field will determine the date which defaults into the Start Date. Click on to the right of the Day(s) field to view your information. Scroll to the right to access additional columns of information. Click on the column headers to reorganize the rows of data. Click on a batch number to view detail of that batch. 14
Authorization & Capture Cont d Batch Detail Screen Single Merchant Account Access - Only The Batch Detail screen lists each transaction settled in the batch. Click on the column headers to reorganize the rows of data. Click on the Batch Total to view the Payment Type Summary. Click on the Trans Seq number to view detail of that particular transaction. 15
Authorization & Capture Cont d Payment Type Summary Screen Single Merchant Account Access - Only Click on the Batch Total (see page 15) to view the totals for each card type processed within that batch. If you accept American Express: This screen is helpful as you will be able to identify the deposit amount from Wind River Financial (the Visa, MasterCard and Discover totals combined) and the deposit amount from American Express. If you have questions regarding your American Express merchant account, deposits or transactions, please call American Express directly at 1-800-528-5200. 16

Authorization & Capture Cont d Custom Reports Reports Drop-Down Menu Single Merchant Account Access Only Generate a custom report in Authorization & Capture by placing your cursor over Reports and selecting Custom Reports. A custom report may be generated if you wanted to research a specific transaction or group of transactions. 18

Authorization & Capture Cont d Custom Reports Criteria Selection Screen Single Merchant Account Access Only Define your search by selecting your search parameters on the screen below. o Select your report timeframe o Select up to a 30 day timeframe if you select Capture Data. o Select up to a 7 day timeframe if you select Authorization Data or Both. o Select the criteria you want included in your report. o Click on Continue to generate your report. 20

Clearing & Settlement Single Merchant Account Access The Clearing & Settlement section provides similar information to what the Authorization & Capture section offers. A couple clarifying points You can only view settled transactions. You have no access to declined or pending authorizations in this section. The information in this section is not accessible in real-time. Settled transactions cannot be accessed in this section until they have completed the clearing & settlement process 2 business days after you settle them. This section does display the interchange rate categories your transactions qualify in, which the Authorization & Capture section does not. If you want to view general information for your authorizations or settled transactions real-time, utilize the Authorization & Capture section. From your Main Drop-Down Menu, select Clearing & Settlement: 22

Clearing & Settlement (post settlement transaction information delayed by 2 business days) On-line Merchant Statements o If your e-connections user name gives you access to more than one merchant account, you will not have real-time access to your authorizations and captured transactions. If you need real-time access to your transactions, you will need to have a separate user name generated in e-connections for each of your merchant accounts. Please contact your Relationship Manager at 1-800-704-7253 to submit this request. 29
Merchant Statements- Cont d Change View Screen Association-Level (Multiple Merchant Account) Access Select On-line Merchant Statements from your main drop-down screen menu (see page 29). A separate window will open. Click on Change View. 30

You must close out of the window your statement is displayed in prior to accessing a different merchant account. To access a different merchant account, click on Change View on the Merchant Statement Summary screen below. 32
