By using live SCADA data the Termis model is transformed from a planning tool (called Offline) to a decision making tool, integrated in your day-to-day operations with instant and clearly identified benefits and economic advantages. Like GPS automobile navigation, Termis Real-time will advise you of problems in the network, no matter which turn you take. 4
How does it work? The operator does not require any in-depth knowledge of Termis. By scrolling back and forth on a simple button interface he can obtain the information he need such as pressure, flow and temperature for any given point in time - in the past or in the future. The Termis model is fed with live information from the SCADA systems. Different variables, such as supply temperature, return temperature, pressure and flow can be displayed. Effects of interventions, such as opening or closing of valves can be assessed by simulations, which reveal disturbances in consumer supply. 5

Production Scheduler The automatic Production Scheduler reduces your energy costs with approximately 2-5%, depending on the flexibility and the variation in fuels. Pumping Optimization This module is an extremely valuable Termis feature, which helps you determine, how the pumps within a district energy network should operate at any given time in order to minimize the total operating costs for the entire network. Termis then calculates the set values for the pumps, thus minimizing the total operating costs. The optimal solution adjusts according to the constraints, which has been defined for the set values of the control variables. 14
