CES Fame Academy NEW FOR 2014 and Horse Riding CES and The Gaiety School of Acting The National Theatre School of Ireland have designed a programme combining expert training with a full programme of musical dance theatre, activities and cultural visits. Led by professional tutors of the Gaiety School of Acting, the National Theatre School of Ireland, students will embark on a musical journey through some of the world s greatest musicals. Students will learn to sing, act and dance and will perform in a show for their peers on the final day of the. No experience is necessary. The CES Fame Academy Summer Course includes classes every morning from day to day, and three afternoons of musical dance theatre per week. Ireland is famous for its sports and race horses. Some of the most famous race and show jumping horses in the world have been bred in Ireland and because of that, people have always come to Ireland to learn how to ride on some of the best trained horses in the world. For a number of years CES has run a fantastic horse-riding and grooming programme with Bachelors Lodge Equestrian Centre in Navan. Students have English classes day to day and then on four afternoons per week have a mixture of horse-riding lessons combined with horse grooming and horse care. The students are given the complete experience of what it is like to have a pony, how to get them ready to ride, what equipment is needed and what they need to do to look after both horse and equipment. This 2 week programme is aimed at all levels of enthusiastic horse riders. English Language and Golf Programme English Language and Rugby There is no better place in the world to learn how to play or improve your golf than Ireland. CES has been running a junior and golf programme for over 14 years with great success. Our students have classes every morning, day to day, and then on three afternoons per week students are collected by a private bus and are taken to Elm Green Golf Course for their golf classes. Elm Green has a 24 bay driving range where the students receive their professional golf tuition. The club also have a wonderful practice area where other areas of the golf game can be worked on such as the short game and putting! The professionals are able to cater for all levels of golfer from complete beginners to low handicap players. On 2 of the afternoons golfers who are able to play on the will enjoy 9 holes on this wonderful parkland. The end of the golf programme sees all our golfers compete to be CES champion golfer of the year! This programme started in 2009 with just 17 participants and we have doubled our numbers every year since then such is the demand for our rugby programme. Students who are just starting to play rugby or who have rugby in mind as a professional career can take this. CES worked very closely with the IRI (Irish Rugby Institute www.rugbyinstitute.com) to design and develop the most suitable for our students. With students coming to us from countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Russia the has a truly international feel. The coaches all hold the highest coaching qualifications and some have played the game at the very highest international level. Intensive, dedicated and strong are how the rugby students have ranked this programme. Modern teaching for the modern game of rugby. 18 Centre Of English Studies www.ces-schools.com www.ces-schools.com Centre Of English Studies 19
