XVIth HUNGARIAN REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT AWARD 2014

THE JURY OF THE XVITH HUNGARIAN REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT AWARD MESSAGE FROM FIABCI WORLD PRESIDENT 2014-2015 Robyn Waters FIABCI World President It is with great pleasure that I extend my sincere best wishes and congratulations to the winners of the Hungarian Real Estate Awards. Hungary provides many strong examples within our industry of how highly qualified professionals can create excellent buildings, developments and structures. The Hungarian Real Estate Award winners exemplary architectural designs are blended with vision, innovation and cutting edge technology which are transforming their country s landscape and the entire world today. The creative professional skills and talent of all the winners are applauded and highly admired by your colleagues and by FIABCI. FIABCI is an international organization that represents the best and brightest talent within the real estate industry including designers, architects, builders and planners, and certainly this is most evident by the winners who have been selected to receive these prestigious awards. Our worldwide membership has much to celebrate alongside our colleagues in Hungary who have been singled out for recognition of their talents, ideas and insights within our industry and profession. When you review these exceptional Hungarian projects, it is easy to understand why the winners of the Hungarian Real Estate Awards traditionally achieve outstanding results in the prominent and influential FIABCI World Prix d`excellence award. I am proud to extend my best wishes to all participants of the Hungarian Real Estate Awards on behalf of our FIABCI Board and members across the globe. Mr Sándor KISPÁL Secretary General of the Hungarian Real Estate Federation Mr Zsolt FÜLEKY Vice State Secretary of the Prime Minister s Office, responsible for architecture and construction. Main Patron of the XVIth Hungarian Real Estate Development Award Mr András KATONA Chief of Main Department of the Prime Minister s Office responsible for architecture and construction Mr László GÖNCZI President of FIABCI Hungary President of the jury Warmest Congratulations, Robyn Waters FIABCI World President 2014-2015 Mr László KOJI Vice President of the Association of Hungarian Construction Companies Mrs Adriena LITOMERICKA Vice President of CEI (Central European Real Estate Federation) 2009-2013, Member of the Board of NARKS National Association of Realtor Companies of Slovakia) 1999-2013 Mrs Brigitte JANK Member of the Parliament, President of the Committee of Education, Senator of University of Art Vienna Mr Imre BÁLINT DLA President of the Chamber of Architects of Budapest Gönczi László President FIABCI Hungary The 16 years history of the FIABCI Hungarian Real Estate Development Award is reflecting the real estate development activity in Hungary since the economic changes at the end of 80-iest of last century. FIABCI Hungary established the Award in1997 with the goal to show to the Hungarian public, that a new sector in the economy was born. The other not less important goal was to support the Hungarian participation in the FIABCI World Prix d`excellence award. During the 16 editions more than 300 projects participated and all the important developments in Hungary were competing for the awards. The winners had the right to go further to the international level and the result was exceptional. Since 1998, when the Hungarian developers first took part in the FIABCI World Prix d`excellence Hungary got 16 gold and 18 silver award. During this 16 year period Hungary was the most successful among the European countries. We are proud that Hungary following Brazil and Malaysia was the third country to recognize the importance of a local award and worked diligently to convince the other countries to organize their own national awards. Last year there were 16 national awards and several new countries will have their own soon. We hope, the winners of the 16th FIABCI Hungarian Real Estate Development Award will follow the traditions and we will have the possibility to congratulate again the Hungarian Winners in Kuala Lumpur on May 2015.
