In full respect of the remains of pre-existent ancient rural dwellings three hamlets have been created, named Pò Sante di Sopra, Pò Sante di Sotto and Pò Sante di Mezzo. 5 The residential complex Le Ginestre is made up of three separate hamlets. There are several farmhouses on sale, which together form the "Pò Sante di Sopra" consisting of 7 restored units and 10 newly built units, "Pò Sante di Sotto" consisting of 19 units and finally "Pò Sante di Mezzo" consisting of two buildings containing 11 dwellings. Both in the restoration of the preexisting farmhouses and in the construction of new units the designer has taken extreme care in planning the distribution of the available space, both respecting existing structures and and at the same time constructing a plan based on ancient ideas and capable of re-evaluating all available space 5

7 Pò Sante di Sotto Pò Sante di Sopra Pò Sante di Mezzo Po Sante di Sopra The "Pò Sante di Sopra" hamlet is the result of the restoration of the remains of a series of ancient rural farmhouses dating back to the XV century, to which have been added some more new farmhouses built from scratch. Overall the hamlet consists of 7 restored properties and 10 buildings of various shapes and sizes. Po Sante di Mezzo "Pò sante di Mezzo" hamlet consists of two distinct buildings for a total of eleven properties, each with a private garden only a few metres from the large shared swimming pool. Po Sante di Sotto "Pò Sante di Sotto" hamlet is possibly the most characteristic part of the whole residential complex. It is an entire fortified medieval village which has been faithfully reproduced both aesthetically and in terms of the layout of the public spaces. It consists of 19 two-storey properties of various sizes, and it includes a shared swimming pool located in the surrounding park. The village also includes a building destined to become a restaurant in the future and an annexe for the caretaker. 7
