Curriculum The curriculum consists of 16 courses and an integrative final project resulting in a total of 60 ECTS and equivalent study load of 1800 hours. The second introduction course aims to develop your applied business research skills to support you in developing your final project proposal. Functional courses Functional processes in an organization deal with similar types of processes. In the functional courses you will acquire and apply knowledge in six functional management areas. Integrative courses The integrative courses are the capstones of the program and aim at helping students develop an integrated view of the organisation and of their role as managers. Specialization The Master in program is a generalist management program. However it does provide you with an opportunity to specialize in International Business. Final project The Master in concludes with program integration, an individual project that will require you to prove your ability to integrate the individual core subjects of the MiM program to solve an organizational challenge. The final project takes the form of a business consultancy project or an applied research project, and clearly reflects the professional approach in this master s program. Program and application information Admission requirements The MSM Master in program offering will be continuously expanded in terms of locations and specializations. Through cooperation with high quality partner institutions the program will be offered in different locations in the world. The Master in program is a generalist management program. However it does provide you with an opportunity to specialize. Several specialization themes will be introduced in the future. The Master in program is offered with different intakes per year, varying per location. Candidates applying for the Master in should meet following criteria: At least hold a Bachelor s degree in any discipline from a recognized university A GMAT (Graduate Admission Test) of 600 or higher. In addition to a GMAT of 600 or higher, we will also accept a GRE with an equivalent score of 600 or higher. Without either of these two scores, you will need to complete four, online leveling courses. Please ask the Admissions Office for more details. Proficiency in English: non-native English speaking candidates and whose previous education has been in a different language than English, must submit evidence of proficiency in the English language by presenting: - a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score (88 internet-based test; 570 paper-based test) or - an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score (6.5 academic test) The language proficiency requirement can be waived under specific circumstances. Develop your business skills The MSM Master in is a practice oriented management program. Besides providing theoretical knowledge, the program will equip you to put this knowledge into practice. At various stages during the program you will learn how to develop your own approach to solve organizational problems and turn opportunities into business success. At course level you will conduct group and individual assignments where you will actively demonstrate your newly acquired knowledge and skills. You will finalize your Master s program with an integrative assignment in the form of a business consultancy project or an applied research project. Either project you choose, you will be required to provide a creative and practical business solution through professional application of your newly developed management skills.
