Career Opportunities The study program enables its students to acquire substantial knowledge for a professional career in different fields of work in global companies. The modules, which are taught in an international context, focus on the following areas: finance, accounting, business law and marketing. On top of that, the students are also trained in various skills such as project and change management, intercultural communication and negotiation skills. Against the background of European integration and increasing globalization, more and more graduates are needed who have developed a deep understanding of multinational management. The master degree in International Business enables its students to gain this knowledge. The program will open the doors to a wide range of challenging positions in companies dealing with global markets and international projects. Graduates have gained employment in international financial management, business consultancy and other areas of international management. In the past seven years, since this program started, our graduates have been able to obtain middle-level management positions in different global companies ranging from manufacturing (in electronics, information technology, etc.) to service multinationals (in banking, logistics, accounting and consulting, etc.). Most of our graduates return to their home countries and seek positions with global companies of German or European origins. Graduates with a good knowledge of the German language are often employed by large German companies. Prof. Dr. Michael von Wuntsch Programme Director»International managers are driven by the desire to understand and experience different business concepts and working styles. Managing diversity across borders implies a deep grasp of various cultural, economic, political and regulatory environments. International business practice also depends on the ability to prepare business solutions under a global climate of complexity and uncertainty. Therefore, the programme is rooted in applied business practice reflecting a truly intercultural perspective and providing students with a critical understanding of contemporary concepts in business and economics. We are looking forward to receiving your application.«
