The solutions are all modular and flexible, suitable for any issue of space. The boxing machines are easy and guarantee high throughput and reduced maintenance operations. Thanks to its extreme versatility and self-size change of the boxes and the products, they can absorb the production even from more than one line at the same time, increasing the productive capacity also in small spaces. The boxing process is done through pick and place with fast axis cards or by anthropomorphic robots up to 6 axes. It has been designed to package the products with open top. The packaging system starts from a flat corrugated cardboard sheet, collected from a suitable warehouse, that is fed into the bending unit with the product to be packaged, then the whole is wrapped and glued around the product itself. The size can vary automatically as for dimensions and type of products, with a wide range of configurations. Special machine designed for the complete product wrapping. Shaping is made through the bending unit and the suitablysized shaper. Manual or automatic filling follows. Products can be inserted directly into the target position in the machine or verticalized, upon request, for example, for packaging to be displayed in sales outlets. 6 7

Both Cartesian and anthropomorphic robots can be fitted with different gripping tools specifically designed in relation to the features of the product. Robots with Cartesian axes Cartesian robots are used in circumstances requiring high precision levels. By employing a structure with a Cartesian geometry, they allow to accurately position the tool by simply controlling trajectories. Consisting of orthogonal linear axes with cross-sliding devices that control movements across three dimensions (x, y and z), they are used especially with the aim of achieving high precision levels and reducing errors. Anthropomorphic robots Today using anthropomorphic robots in the field of integrated automation allows to considerably reduce processing times and, as a result, to increase the company s productivity in the same amount of time. Plus, this significantly improves product quality, thanks to the renowned repeatability ensured by anthropomorphic robots. Thanks to their adaptability, versatility and the fact that they can be used for various purposes, anthropomorphic robots basically allow to achieve highly flexible automation: the features of their structure and control system allow for noticeable mechanical flexibility and allow to cover surrounding areas that cannot be reached with other types of machines. Their movements stand out for their versatility: indeed anthropomorphic robots can reach the same area with different configurations of their axes and maintain high precision levels. 10 11

The technologies developed allow us to optimise the design and capacity of your pallets in relation to the package that will be placed on them and the packages to be processed. Our systems can manage different types of packages at the same time and create mixed pallets by picking up and moving around individual packages. Those which are available are as follow: the vehicle continually checks and corrects its position thanks to reflectors positioned at various points of the equipment which reflect the emitted laser beam; the vehicle follows small magnetic spots fitted into the flooring; the systems alternate according to the features of the transit areas. Management and Supervision Software The AGV operation is run by a supervisor who, by WI-FI network, communicates with the vehicles and manages traffic, priorities and missions.
