Our Unbeatable Combination: Applied Learning SAP Corporate Master Program In an increasingly global business environment characterized by unrelenting competitive pressures, sustained corporate success depends on marketfocused innovations. SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG is collaborating with Steinbeis Center of Management and Technology (SCMT), SRH Hochschule (Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences), and Technische Universität München (TUM) to provide comprehensive, on-the-job education for tomorrow s management staff and young professionals. This is the SAP Corporate Master program, whose goal is to educate and advance talented young employees of companies and consulting firms from a wide range of fields. We are offering four study programs focusing on different aspects of management and technology in conjunction with our selected higher education partners: Master of Business Administration (MBA) at least two years of professional experience required Master of Business Engineering (MBE) immediately after bachelor s degree Master of Science (MSc) immediately after bachelor s degree Master of Computer Science (MCompSc) not consecutive, immediately after bachelor s degree A common feature of these study programs is that they include an SAPcertified consultant qualification. While the universities involved in the master programs are responsible for teaching and examining students in the academic components of the programs, the SAP Education organization provides SAPcertified consultant training and sets the related examinations. On successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded an academic degree from their university MBA, MBE, MSc, or MCompSc and an internationally recognized SAP consultant certificate from SAP Education. An Innovative Concept The postgraduate SAP Corporate Master program is based on a dual educational model: it enables junior managers and young professionals to obtain an internationally recognized master s degree and an SAP consultant certificate at the same time. The participating students receive a hands-on education with an international focus, which opens up new avenues and career opportunities for them. On-thejob learning is a key element of the program: alongside their academic studies, participants take part in projects at their own companies or at customer sites, allowing them to put their theoretical learning into practice and to enhance it. Students receive personal, individual attention. This gives them the confidence they need to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-life context. Both students and their cooperating partner companies derive sustained benefits from this instructional method. Modular Approach The study program comprises a twoyear curriculum. Students acquire professional skills and competencies by taking part in 13 seminar modules at the participating universities. The universities focus on teaching subjects that are of practical relevance. Students remain in their companies employment throughout the program of study. SAP Education holds a five-week Consultant Academy, at which students familiarize themselves with an SAP application or technology in depth. Students can choose between training courses for different SAP consultant profiles (for example, management accounting or human capital management). Training in an SAP consultant profile takes place before the first university study module and concludes with an examination as a certified SAP consultant for the selected profile. At a later stage in the program, students attend a further 10-day SAP training course on processes supported by the SAP ERP application and integration know-how. This course also concludes with a certification examination by SAP Education. Involvement in hands-on projects at the students own companies or at customer sites, in parallel to the academic side of the course, forms an integral part of the SAP Corporate Master program.
