Arianna Further Time from Broadcast and Updated Panel Types Arianna 8.9 has been rolled out to all users. This upgrade includes further time from broadcast activities and updated panel types. Updated lifestyle data with backdata to 1 st January 2013 has also been released. Further Time from broadcast The additional activities below can be selected for analysis from 01 October 2011, facilitating a more in-depth analysis of how many hours after broadcast timeshift viewing takes place. During January to March 2013, 92.8% of timeshift viewing was played back by day two of the consolidation window. With Further time from broadcast, users can now run analysis on how soon after broadcast time-shift viewing takes place. Further time from broadcast can be used to answer questions like; How many hours after broadcast does time-shift viewing takes place? Does time from broadcast vary by audience and/or daypart? Sample Panel Type Analysis - Adex The updated panel types facilitate quick analysis by reception type in Arianna. For example users can now quickly review 30 Sec 000s by panel type. 1) Set criteria as per below in Adex including; layout, February 2013, Adults 15+, All Commercial channels, consolidated. 2) The required layout in this case was defined in the layout definition area. 4) Relevant panel types selected. 3) Layout definition > drag across required fields from domains to define report layout and save group. Lifestyle data The following are among the fields available for audience creation with backdata to 01 January 2013: o o o Do you, or anyone in your household, have a tablet (e.g. ipad, Samsung Galaxy Tablet etc.) in your home? Activity: study full time / eat out / children's TV / arts Do you watch TV content in any of the following ways: on a mobile phone / on a tablet / through a games console To set up a new audience, go to the audience definition filter from your audiences parameter selection, then click on Define Target.
