About Us Primp and Blow Hair and Makeup Advanced Training offers unique workshops to improve your strengths as stylists and makeup artists. We will build your confidence in the art of blow drying, styling and makeup. Let us teach you how to offer more styling services to your short, shoulder length and long-hair clients. Be known for special event hair styles and makeup, build a reputation for doing round brush blow dry s and learn the art of styling with our Professional Blow Dry Boot Camp. After taking one of our Boot Camp workshops, you will be more educated and ready to perform top hair and makeup trends in the industry! Get over the fear of up-do s, increase your speed and efficiency and add more variety and creativity to your profession with workshops at Primp and Blow Hair and Makeup Advanced Training. Workshops: Smaller classes offer more hands on training with the educators. No more then 8 students per class. Lecture and demonstration with hands on practice. Educator Bios Vivian is the founder of the Primp and Blow Hair and Makeup Advanced Training. She became Lead Stylist and Manager in her first year and Regional Manager in her second year at Primp and Blow s premier blow dry bar. She loves mentoring and teaching up-and-coming stylists. She is a precision stylist with a fierce loyal following. She is known for expertly matching her vision to her client s look and personal style and has earned her a devoted, loyal clientele for shampoo blow outs and hair extensions. Her concentrated curriculum will be unlike any other workshop you have ever experienced and is sure to teach you to become the best. Liz joined our blow dry bar family in 2011 with 8 years of experience in the industry. Her exuberant personality is one of the many qualities that keep her clients coming back to her chair. She is passionate about hair and inspired by the latest trends. She embraces change, as you will notice with her own hair, with its everchanging cut and color. Liz specializes in hair extensions and makeup and is geared up for your hair makeover by focusing on helping to educate you on our great products and to assist you in achieving your client s new full potential look. Lauren thrives on making people look and feel great. Everyone loves being pampered by Lauren and she is one of our most requested stylists. She has worked as Network Educator for all of the Primp and Blow locations since we opened in 2010. As a top Bumble and bumble educator she believes education is the foundation for success and she consistently attends Bumble and bumble University courses to further her education. She teaches monthly workshops designed to educate the Primp and Blow staff on the latest trends in hair. Her specialty is creating glamorous looks with both round brush and flat brush blow dry styling. Educator Bios Adriana is hands down the most requested stylist and makeup artist at Primp and Blow EVER! She specializes in hairapy which is her own unique combination of hair styling and therapy. She teaches workshops to prepare new stylists to work at Primp and Blow. She has been working with Bumble and bumble products since she started her career and has received the bulk of her education from them, as well as Rain Cosmetics. Committed to inspiration, continuing education, and client service, with a fascination for glamour, Adriana will teach you that great hair and makeup is not just a profession but a way of life. Matthew is a classically trained professional makeup artist with 15 years in the luxury cosmetic artistry industry. He attended both Arizona State University and University Laval in Quebec, Canada. Most recently he was the Premier Artist with the House of Chanel. He has represented Chanel, Laura Mercier, International Sensai Master for Kanebo International, La Prairie, Clarins, both nationally and internationally, and launched the Dolce & Gabbana cosmetic line in Beverly Hills, CA. He was trained by the biggest names in the cosmetic industry, and worked for some of the nation s top luxury cosmetic retailers such as Barneys and Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. Matthew has extensive knowledge of all the tops brands and products on the market and has worked closely with some of the biggest Hollywood stars, international celebrities, and even royalty! While at Barneys, he was a go-to person for Studio Services and thus consulted numerous stylists on entire looks featured in movies and television programs such as Desperate Housewives and American Idol. He has practical and real-world experience in the industry and his no-nonsense/no-fluff method of teaching ensures you are learning and retaining knowledge that you will actually use on your path to becoming a professional makeup artist, or just learning to do your own makeup with professional results. Educator Bios Brianna s passion for her creativity and love for making people look and feel amazing led her to a career in the hair and beauty industry. She has advanced training in long hair styling and makeup training with Rain Cosmetics, Mac and Special Event Makeup. Her skills and attention to detail as a creative and articulate hair and makeup artist, have made her a valuable team member at Primp and Blow. She is excited to share inspirations from Primp and Blow s artistic team of hair and makeup artists and to bring you a fresh approach to hair styling and makeup techniques. Bailey was born to be a stylist and has been called a hair genius by numerous Primp and Blow clients. She has been educated by many different masters in the hair industry and her personal approach to up-do s and hair extensions is to fuse problemsolving with artistic inspiration. She is constantly amazed by the endless combinations that are possible with the medium of hair. She follows a philosophy of a combined deep level of expertise with the needs of busy professionals. She continues to educate others on the latest innovations in the industry. Katie s specialties include blow dry styling, bridal, special occasion hair and DreamCatchers hair extensions. She is a young, talented, creative stylist, that has an eye for detail and may be the fastest at performing shampoo blow outs that we have ever witnessed. Educator Bios Keith is an exceptional and talented stylist, rendering his artistic ability of hair styling to his clientele. He strives to dispense current beauty tips and to offer his clients the most fun experience. Keith has been working for Primp and Blow for the past year and a half and is one of our Lead Stylists. He is thoroughly educated in blow outs, Keratin Complex treatments, DreamCatchers hair extensions, Dermalogica, Bumble and bumble and Moroccanoil products. Keith is a highly respected stylist and is a great advocate for the Primp and Blow community. Kai is an experienced makeup artist and licensed aesthetician with over 8 years industry experience. She is an artist and educator with the professional skills to help you create the perfect look on your clients or even yourself. FAQ s Do I need to bring my own model? No, we will provide models, however on occasion you will be required to work on each other. Are there any entry requirements? Yes, a valid cosmetology license or esthetician license is required for all workshops. We provide workshops from complete beginners to advanced professional level. All of our workshops are tailored to your abilities. Do you provide accommodation? No, but please contact us for information on hotels near to our workshop location. How do I pay for the workshops? A 50% deposit via credit/debit card is applicable on all bookings. Any remaining fees are due in full 7 days before your workshop starts. What days of the week are the workshops held? All workshops will be on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays depending on the workshop. How do I enroll for a workshop?
