Who are We? Comprehensive High School in Knoxville, TN Total Population: 832 % Economically Disadvantaged: 81.5 Demographics African American: 42.4% Caucasian: 52.4% Hispanic: 4.2%

Where have we been? In 2008: our graduation rate was 43.6% our staff went through a reconstitution our school was restructured and recultured through a redesign

Where are we now? 2012 Graduation Rate: 86.9% School-wide foci: Test scores (of course!) Transition to CCSS and PARCC College and Career Readiness Graduate Portfolios and Profiles

The Fulton Experience Fulton has a Culture of: Small Learning Communities Collaboration Innovation Individualized Opportunities

Small Learning Communities Our school is one high school comprised of 5 smaller divisions called Small Learning Communities (SLC). Each division has its own clear focus and structure. Upper house (11 th and 12 th grade) focus has integrated CTE and Core curriculum. Lower House (9 th and 10 th grade) focus is on moving students through their successful transition to high school.
