1. What is new in HDFCMFOnline? The new system offers the existing investors an option to create a User ID and map multiple folios to that user ID. Folios, where the first holder s PAN is the same, can be mapped to this user ID. 2. I have not registered my email ID in the folio. Will I be allowed to create a User ID? Your Email ID is a mandatory requirement for creation of the user ID The email ID can be updated in the folio(s) by submitting a written request at any of our Investor Service Centers. The address is available on our website under the Contact Us tab. The user ID cannot be created unless your Email id is registered in our records. 3. How do I create a User ID? Creation of a User ID is a one-time process. To do this, you would need to click on the Create User ID button and follow the instructions given below: Select the option to create the User ID with HPIN or Without HPIN. After the details are validated, an email is triggered to the registered Email ID of the folio Open the email with the subject HDFCMFOnline User ID Creation Folio No XXXXXX Click on the link provided in the mail. (This link is valid for 30 minutes) A new window will display the User ID creation screen Enter the desired User ID. (Must be minimum 6 characters) Check if User ID is available, if yes continue, if not, enter a new User ID and recheck for availability Enter password of choice. (Password should be between 8-15 characters. Password should be 8-15 characters long. The password must consist of alpha numeric and a special character. The password must contain at-least one special character only from the following set ( ` ~! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ = { } [ ] : ' < >.? / ) Re-enter the password. (Both passwords must match to proceed further) Select a question of your choice from the list provided in the drop down

Enter the answer to the question. (Must be a one word answer) Make a note of the secret question and answer for future reference Enter the code displayed (The code is not case sensitive and is valid for 120 seconds) Click on the submit button New User ID would now be created to transact on HDFCMFOnline 4. I have not opted for an HPIN. Can I directly createa User ID? Yes, you can create the user ID provided your email is registered in the folio. 5. What is the criteria to be fulfilled before creating a User ID? For creating a user ID, you need to have a folio with HDFC MF and your email ID has to be registered in the folio. 6. Is here a limit on the number of characters in the User ID? The User ID has to be minimum six characters and can be alpha numeric. 7. I have created the User ID by selecting the Without HPIN option. How do I get full transactions access? The option to convert the folio from limited to full access is displayed under account summary. You need to select the Tab called Enter HPIN for full access, and follow the subsequent instructions. Once the HPIN is validated, full access will be granted for these folios. 8. What do you mean by Full and Limited access? Full Access: Full Access denotes that a user can perform Purchase, Redemption, Switch transactions along with requesting for Account Statements and viewing the Portfolio summary and other relevant details Limited Access:

Limited access offers investors the option to only make purchases and register for Systematic investment plans To gain full access you need to request for an HPIN. If you have forgotten your HPIN, you may click on the Forgot HPIN link. After necessary verifications, the new HPIN will be emailed to your email ID registered with us. If you are yet to apply for an HPIN, <Click here> to download the application form and submit it at any of our Investor Services Centers (ISC). 9. Can I create multiple User IDs for the same folio? Only one User ID can be created for a folio. Multiple User IDs are not allowed for the same folio 10. Will I get a confirmation once the User ID is created? Yes. The User ID will be emailed to the id registered in our records. We would, request you to save this mail for future reference. 11. How do I map a folio(s)? Under the account summary tab, select the Add folio option and follow the instructions to add multiple folios to the User Id. (folios where the unit holder (first holder) Permanent Account Number (PAN) is the same are allowed to be linked.) 12. Can I link multiple folios? Yes, you can map multiple folios to the User ID. Currently, only folios where the unit holder (first holder) Permanent Account Number (PAN) is the same can be linked to a User ID. Refer illustration below for clarification on this. 13. Is the restriction on the number of folios that can be linked to the User ID? There is no restriction on the number of folios that can be mapped to a User ID. The only criteria being, that the Permanent Account Number (PAN) of the first Unit Holder should be the same across all the folios that are being linked to the user ID 14. What transactional facilities does HDFCMFOnline offer? HDFCMFOnline allows investors to perform Purchase, Redemption and, Switch transactions (between schemes in the same folio). It also allows you to register for various systematic transactions. 15. Can I Purchase units in Demat form through HDFCMFOnline? Yes, the new system allows you to buy units in Demat form. Currently this facility is limited to eligible closed ended schemes only. 16. Can I register a new Demat account online? Yes, the new system allows you the option to receive the units of eligible closed ended schemes in Demat form. 17. Can I register multiple Demat accounts in a folio No. You are allowed to register only one Demat account in a folio. Registration of Multiple Demat accounts in a folio is not allowed. 18. I have requested for the units in Demat, but physical units are allotted Initially, physical units will be allotted. After successful validation of the Demat account, the units will be converted into Demat and will reflect in your Demat account. 19. I hold a scheme in Demat. Can I purchase additional units of the same scheme in Physical mode in the same folio? No, you are only allowed to hold units of the same scheme in one folio, in either physical or Demat form 20. Where do I view details of my investments

The investment details of the respective folio are displayed under account summary. 21. Where do I view my personal details Your personal details are visible under my details under the account summary tab. 22. Is there a limit on the purchase amount? There is no limit on the purchase amount. we request you to check with your respective bank for any limit / cap that they would have set for online transactions. 23. Are there any charges for using HDCMFOnline facility There are no charges for using the HDFCMFonline system. We request you to check with your respective bank for charges levied for using the net banking facility. 24. Where do I click to transact (Purchase / Switch / Redeem)? The transaction tab contains options to Purchase / Switch / Redeem and register for various systematic transactions. 25. How do I know which folio I am transacting among the multiple folios registered under mu User ID? The folio is displayed in the top right corner of the transaction page. 26. How do I toggle between folios? You need to select My Mapped Folio tab available under account summary tab to toggle between your mapped folios. 27. I have multiple bank accounts in my folio, where can I view the details This account detail is visible under the Registered Bank account, under the other options tab. (Same as above) 28. Can I select the bank in which I want the redemption proceeds to be credited

In case you have more that one bank account registered in the folio, during redemption you have the option to select the account you want the proceeds to be credited into. 29. How do I change my payout mode online No, online change of payout mode is not allowed. You need to visit any of our ISC, they will assist you further in this regard. 30. Can I add more bank account through the online mode No, currently addition of new bank accounts through the HDFCMFOnline is not allowed. You may visit any of our ISC and they will guide you further in this regard. 31. How do I update my contact details The mobile, office / residence landline can be updated / changed through change details option under the other options tab. 32. Where do I register for systematic transactions (SIP / STP / Flex STP / Flex Index) The systematic transaction tab is available under the transaction tab. You can select the systematic option you wish to register from the options available 33. I have successfully transacted. Where do I view the details Upon successful submission, the details of all transactions are displayed under pending transactions available under the other options tab. 34. I need an account statement, how do I generate it? The option account statement is available under the account summary tab. We offer the options of receiving a Multilingual statement, Classic statement and Investment Performance summary. 35. For what duration can the account statement be generated?

Currently, you can generate the statement for up to a year only. In case you require a statement for a longer period, you may place a request vide email or our call center and the same will be sent to you. 36. Do I get confirmation once the transaction is successfully processed? A copy of the confirmation is emailed to the id registered in the folio for records 37. What if, during purchase, the amount is debited from my account but I do not get a confirmation. In such a situation, please email us at cliser@hdfcfund.com with a scanned copy of your bank statement, quoting your folio number and transaction details. Please allow us at least three working days to revert back with the status of your transaction. As you are aware, the time after successful payment and transaction confirmation will be considered final for purchases. 38. Is my purchase transaction valid if the amount is not debited If your bank account is not debited, the transaction stands cancelled. 39. Can I change the dividend option for my schemes online Yes, the option is available under Change dividend option tab, which is available under the other option tab. 40. How often do I need to change my password The password is valid for 90 days, after which the system will initiate a mandatory change. You are also allowed to change the password before completing the requisite 90 days. The option to change he password is available under other options. 41. I have forgotten my password how do I reset my password Click on the forgot password link, enter your User ID, enter the answer to the secret question. After the details are verified, a new password is emailed. The system will

prompt you to change the password after which you may enter the password of your choice. 42. I have forgotten my User ID, how do I retrieve it? Your existing User ID can be retrieved by clicking on the forgot User ID tab. After necessary validations, the user id is emailed to you. 43. I do not want to create a User ID. I want to transact using my folio and HPIN, can I do that? Yes, we have provided you with a link to login using your folio and HPIN. This facility will be offered for limited period, after which User ID will be mandatory. We urge to create your unique the ID to avail of the new features. 44. Does my password for my User ID expire? Yes, currently the system will prompt the User to change the password in 90 days. The investor has the option to change the password before the completion 90 days as well. 45. Can I switch between schemes of two different folios? No. Switch between schemes of two different folios is not allowed. 46. I have clicked the redemption / switch button once but two transactions have been processed? We request you to immediately contact us on 1800 233 6767 (toll-free) or 6000 6767 or email us at cliser@hdfcfund.com or contact any of our ISC s, click here to view the list before the days cut off i.e. 3.00 pm to assist you. 47. Can I write to you when I am logged in the User ID You may write to us directly by using the register complaint /query under the other option tab
