How to find and access e-books from the Library Catalogue An increasing number of books are now available in electronic format as e-books or electronic books. The College has over 5000 e-books which you can read in full text via the Internet. The majority of our e-books are available on four main platforms or websites Dawsonera, MyiLibrary, Ebrary and Safari Books Online. The easiest way to find and access e-books is to search the Library Catalogue http://capitadiscovery.co.uk/bradfordcollege/ just like you would for printed books. Enter your search terms in the search box. You can search for an author, a title or a keyword. For example, Rachel Gould s Level 2 Hairdressing enter the terms Gould and hairdressing. If the book is available electronically the term ebook will appear under the title. You can also limit your search to just e-books by selecting E-book or ebook from either the Library Location or the Format facets on the left hand side of the screen under Refine Your Search. Click on the title or to access the full record for the book on the catalogue. Click on the link Click here to access from the full record for the book to access the content of the e-book online. How you access the full text of the e-book depends on which platform the e-book is hosted Dawsonera, MyiLibrary, Ebrary or Safari. This information is displayed in the record for the item on the catalogue, for example, page 1
