To manage the delivery of the County Council s Building Work Programme by directing, controlling and supervising the Architectural and Engineering Design service. To provide advice to the Council, its committees and service departments upon legal, executive and administrative matters, across a range of the Council s functions but particularly with reference to employment, education, contractual, change management and data protection issues. As a member of the Strategic HR Group, shape, support and deliver human resources strategies and objectives, and champion the delivery of an Assistant Director of Human integrated and best practice HR service across the Council and single employer ethos. To provide a comprehensive revenue and capital budgeting, accounting and monitoring function to elected members, Head of Finance and service managers.
