STARTING POINT The objective: to improve competitiveness through design skills Design should play a greater role in innovation activity Design is seen as an ability to design and to make use of design The public sector is an active participant in the implementation of the strategy Design as art is not included in the strategy

VISION: BY 2020, DESIGN WILL BE A KEY ENABLER FOR BETTER WELFARE IN AN UNCERTAIN WORLD. DESIGN HAS BECOME A CORE COMPETENCE AREA FOR BUSINESSES AND THE PUBLIC SECTOR.

THE VISION OF THE DESIGN STRATEGY CAN BE REALIZED BY BUILDING UP AN ECOSYSTEM AND THROUGH FOUR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES :
