WELCOME TO LEARN365 Learn365 is Concern s new e-learning site. Learn365 will be launched to the organisation in 2014. Enjoy your learning experience! ACCESSING THE SITE Step 1: You will receive to your Concern email address an email from Admin User with the Subject Title: Concern Learn365: New user account The email looks like this: Hi (Name) Welcome to Learn365! Learn365 is Concern Worldwide's new online learning site. The site is managed and maintained by Concern's Learning and Development team in Dublin. A new account has been created for you on Learn365 and you have been issued with a temporary password. To access Learn365 login at http://learn365.concern.net/login/ In most mail programs, this should appear as a blue link which you can just click on. If that doesn't work, then cut and paste the address into the address line at the top of your web browser window. Your login information is: username: password: When you login for the first time please change your password to something you'll remember more easily. Step 2: Log in to the site using the link in the email or by typing learn365.concern.net into your internet browser Enter the user name (always your email address) Password (sent to you in the email) 3
YOUR PASSWORD Step 3: You will be prompted to change your password. Please change it to a password you will easily remember. This will ensure easier accessibility in the future. Save changes once completed. 4
YOUR PROFILE Your profile screen will look something like the one below. Step 4: Next you must update your Profile on the site. Your profile is located in the orange box located on the left of the screen, called Logged in user. It is already set with your name and location. To edit your profile click on the blank picture under Logged in user. 5
Go to the settings block and click Edit profile. Please pay particular attention to fields in orange. These need to be checked for accuracy and filled in where blank. Click Update Profile to save. This will bring you back to the home page. 6
BROWSING THE SITE This is your home screen. Use the tabs at the top to track your learning, track the learning of your team if you re a manager, find courses and see forthcoming calendar events. My Learning Learning plans are something we ll use in the future. They allow you to plan a series of courses over a period of time in advance. My bookings lists any face-to-face courses or workshops you are booked onto. This is something we ll use in the future and is not active at the moment. Your record of learning shows courses already completed or in progress. 7
Find courses Here you will see a list of all courses to which you have access on Learn365. In future you will also see a list of programs, for the moment this is not active. Calendar If you are enrolled on any face-to-face workshops using Learn365 they will appear in your calendar. This is something we ll use in the future. 8
ACCESSING COURSES Courses can be accessed by clicking Find Courses or by clicking on the relevant icon here. Available courses are listed on the left with a brief description of the course on the right. When you re ready to start the course click on its title and begin. All our courses appear in the same format. All course content is located in the middle column of the screen. Complete each section of a course before continuing to the next. 9
ALLOWING POP-UPS It is important you can access all links contained within a course. Each link leads you to new content and is a required part of the course. Many links open in new windows, if you encounter problems opening these links it may be that your PC does not allow pop-ups. To enable popups for Learn365 only please follow the steps below. 1. In internet explorer, click tools at the top of the screen and then click internet options. 2. Then click the privacy tab and click settings. 10
3. You will see the box below. Type learn365.concern.net into the box, click Add, then Close and OK. 4. Log out of learn365.concern.net and log in again and you should be able to open all parts of the course. HELP If you need any help with Learn365 send a mail to learn365@concern.net.
