DOUBLE STAINLESS STEEL TUBE DTS FIBER OPTIC CABLE FTSF-FSUTS(DTS) Double Jelly Filled Stainless Steel Tube General Description This document specifies non armour sensing fiber cable with double stainless steel gel filled tube which can contain 2 singlemode and 2 multimode fibers. The fibers are of polyimide thermocoat coated for high temperature operation up to 350 C. Since the tube contains the fiber is stainless steel, it provides excellent mechanical and chemical protection plus 100% rodent proof while allowing the heat to be conducted to the fiber. With this cable construction, it is suitable for installation in all environments including the harsh areas. Basic Construction Stainless Steel Uni-Tube Fiber Optic Cable Stainless Steel Tube Jelly Jelly Fiber Stainless Steel Tube Optical Fiber Singlemode 9/125um or Multimode(50/125um or 62.5um) fibers. Refer to Fiber Properties & Specification Data Sheet for more detail. Inner Loose Tube A single stainless steel tube of SS304 material, containing 2 x SM 9um and 2 x MM 50um fibers, filled with jelly. Tube diameter is 1.5mm and wall thickness is 0.25mm. Outer Loose tube A second layer of stainless steel tube of SS304 material filled with jelly is use to covert the inner loose tube. Tube diameter is 2.8mm and wall thickness is 0.25mm.
