Make sure you have performed the steps listed in the manual Installing a Server. The server is the machine where physical information (database) is stored.

2 System installation from PC Client to server. 2 Pasos para instalación 2.1 Create a network unit In order to access the information that is stored on the server from a client machine, you will have to create a network drive, to create this unit follow these steps: Make sure that your IT personal runs this process, this may ask private passwords. The root folder of Millennium that is in the server must be shared with the users: Select root folder, do a right click on it and choose Properties will appear the following screen, pleas choose Sharing tab and press Share option.

Pasos para instalación In the next window we must assign Clients, we recommend to select Everyone Set up the permissions of Read-Write and then press Share. Finally press Done 3

Pasos para instalación 5 Now on the client machine, once the folder has been shared millennium from the server, you must create the network drive: Enter to Start / My Computer, next window will be displayed, select the Tools / Map network drive o seleccionar el acceso rápido Next windows will appear, choose the letter that you will use for all users clients that will use the system this is an exeample, but we recommend to choose M letter (For standardization). After selecting letter M for the drive unit, press Browse in the Folder line, search and

6 System installation from PC Client to server. select the root folder shared from server. If you don't see the root folder in there, type the route manually, you can find the route in the root folder that is on the server. Then press Finish

Pasos para instalación 2.2 7 Installing Necessary Files Once that you have the access to the "M" drive, Copy from there the folder MA_CLIENT_SQL Please copy that folder to drive C:\ of the client pc. After you did the copy of MA_CLIENT_SQL folder to the clients pc, search a file inside the folder (in the client pc) named NET.TPS, and delete it or rename it as you prefer.

Creating a shourt cut of the system In the MA_CLIENT_SQL folder that is in the client pc, search cpanel.exe, selecth it and do a right click on it, it will display a small menu, choose send to / Desktop. Now you will have a Shortcut to launch the system. 2.4 Ejecutando y configurando el sistema Do double click in the shortcut created, it will display the next window: The configuration must be as: <drive>:\ma_server\: Select the folder M:\MA_SERVER <drive>:\ma_client\: Select the folder C:\MA_CLIENT

Pasos para instalación 9 <drive>:\ma_program\: Select the folder M:\MA_PROGRAM MA_SERVER and MA_PROGRAM were directioned from Unit M:\ (Server) and MA_CLIENT from local unit C:\ Choose from Tipo de estación de trabajo, Cliente option. click on Aceptar and restard the system. 2.5 Configurar la base de datos After launching the system, will appear the screen to log in, it will have the user Supervisor and a company named Empresa de Ejemplo to get in, select Supervisor user, Type the password: BETTA, and choose the company Empresa de Ejemplo, press Continuar. once you log in, you will see the next options displayed, go to Empresas module

10 System installation from PC Client to server. You will see a new windows, pleas go to Archivos then empresas. select empresa de ejemplo, once selected the company press modificar, a screen in which you give the route to the database "Para acceso de los clientes" appears.

Pasos para instalación 11 do a right click on, and in the screen that appear search and set the MA_DATA folder that is in the server (M:). You will see the route of the directory, after you select the folder in the line.

12 System installation from PC Client to server. You must type on the begging of the line (where the route is) the name of the data base, at the end of the data base name you need to put this simbol (;) E.g: MA_DATA;M:\MA_DATA_SQL\ and finally press Aceptar and restart the system.
