Blanket is a non-combustible flexible blanket made by alkaline earth silicate fibers, used in applications of fire protection against cellulosic or hydrocarbons fire. The fiber formulation used is more soluble in human body and has excellent thermal and acoustic properties. In its manufacture binders are not used, there are no smokes, toxic gases or emissions, also it has no loss of tensile strength during fire exposure. It is an easy product to install because it is flexible and resistant, with good tensile strength. During installation and assembly is not necessary to use special tools and can be cut with knife. The blanket is covered externally by a thin foil of 40 microns fixed to the fiber by sodium silicate glue. This thin foil ensures an excellent protection to the weather such as rain outside.
