After completing this PhD project, my professional interest and focus shifted towards positive psychology and its application to the field of developmental psychology and organizational psychology. I then worked for 3 years as assistant professor at the Behavioural Science Institute at the Radboud University Nijmegen, where I have initiated and developed a new master in positive youth development (Department of Developmental Psychopathology), in which I was teaching as well. In addition, I was project leader of several randomized controlled trials in which we studied the effectiveness of the school-based resilience program Op Volle Kracht.. As of July 2013, I am self-employed and consult and train schools to create whole school approaches of mental health, and I give presentations and trainings in positive psychology and The Work of Byron Katie. 1
