1 & Namib Desert Camping Tour 2017 Day 1: Windhoek Arrival in Windhoek, Sightseeing tour in the afternoon, overnight at Guesthouse Tamboti or similar B/-/D (B=Breakfast L=Lunch D= Dinner) Day 2: Botswana Crossing border into Botswana, sightseeing along the road till Ghanzi, at Ghanzi -/L/D Day 3: Early start, traversing the linear dunes of the Kalahari, passing through small towns along the way. Reaching Day 4: Territory of the River people, travelling with motor-boat and traditional Mokoro (dugout canoe) the next two days. Looking out for wild live, guided walks on islands. Day 5: Early morning bush walk, spotting some Game. Relaxing and/or swimming in a save spot. Sundowner from the riverside.
2 Day 6: Returning back to our first Camp. Gliding across the crystal waters. Good chances to spot crocodiles and hippopotamus and a lot of birds. Day 7: Rundu-Namibia Travelling back to Namibia, game drive though the Mahango National Park, Dinner tonight will be for the clients own expense in the restaurant at the lodge. B/L/- Day 8: Exploring the local market at Rundu, breaks along the way at various kraals to see the local crafts and woodcarving. Day 9: Early morning Game drive, visiting some of the waterholes in the area, watching out for big game. Day 10: Full day Gamed rive, leaving early to enjoy the cool morning. Visiting several waterholes. Lunch break at Halali, Continuing our way and game driving down to Okaukuejo. Day 11: Damaraland Leaving, Stop at Outjo for Coffee and Cake, Driving into the Desert. Stop at Petrified Forest, excursion at Tywfelfontein and Organ pipes.
3 Day 12: Swakopmund More beautiful Darmaland scenery this morning. Stop at Uis an old mining town, and one of the best places to buy semi-precious stones. Meeting the Ocean at Henties Bay. Visiting the seals colony at Cape Cross. Arriving at Swakopmund Dinner is for the clients own account in a local restaurant. Checking into a holiday CHALETS B/L/- Day 13 Swakopmund Free day today, There are various activities that can be arranged, like aeroplane and microlight flights over the desert, scenic drives, fishing trips, four wheel motorcycle trips into the desert and over the sand dunes, sand barding, skydiving, surfing and many other activities are available CHALET B/-/- Day 14: Namib Desert Travelling to Walfish Bay to watch marine bird life Flamingos, entering into the various scene of the Namib Desert. Day 15: Namib Desert Pre dawn start to catch the soft light of the sunrise on the desert. Passing though Sesriem, driving into the heart of the dune field, reaching Sossusvlei, walking into the sand dunes. Day 16 Windhoek After breakfast starting the journey back to Windhoek.
