DNA Fusion Door Locking System The DNA Fusion application has been made available via our Remote Desktop Farm RemoteApp web page. Previously, users had to access the system through a virtual desktop at http://vdi.net.ucf.edu, but this new access method provides additional flexibility for users of Windows XP and Windows 7. Windows XP Signing into RemoteApp Start by launching Internet Explorer and browsing to http://remoteapp.net.ucf.edu (note that Internet Explorer and Windows are required with this access method). Enter your user credentials as NET\yourNID then enter your NID password and click Sign in.
Installing the ActiveX Control If, upon signing in, you are met with this screen stating the ActiveX control is not installed, click on Tools > Manage Add-ons or double-click the blocked Add-on icon at the bottom of the Internet Explorer window.
Enabling the Add-ons Under Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer, the Microsoft Terminal Services add-ons will be displayed under Disabled. Click each add-on then select Enable.
After enabling the add-on, it will no longer display under Disabled. Once both add-ons are enabled, click OK. You will be prompted to restart Internet Explorer. Simply close the browser and open it again.
