If your monitor's mounting holes are located off center (vertically), you can adjust your mounting height accordingly. ie. (Back of Monitor) Subtract 1" (25 mm) from the Mounting Height. Add 1" (25 mm) from the Mounting Height. For configurations without extension, add 3.5" (89 mm) to the mounting height from the table above. 2 of 8

6 Range of Motion The Ergotron LX Monitor Arm is designed to adjust quickly and easily according to your needs - refer to following steps for adjustment and page 8 for Ergonomic Ground Rules. Lift - Up & Down Tilt - Back & Forth Pan/Arm Swing - Side-to-side 75 Rotate - P/L (Portrait/Landscape) ±50 up to 180 90 13" (330 mm) 5 7 Lift Motion Move monitor up and down through entire range of motion. If it does not stay in place at any point it will need adjustment - see below. Adjust so upward and downward moving forces are equal. Once this is achieved turn adjustment screw 2-4 turns clockwise to give slight upward bias to lift system. 13" (330 mm) ±50 Adjust Lift To Increase Lifting Force: Turn screw clockwise. 8 Tilt Motion Tilt monitor back and forth through entire pivot range of motion. If it does not stay in place or movement in one direction is stiff, pivot needs adjustment - see below. Adjust until monitor 75 stays in place and tilting forces, up or down, are equal. Adjust Tilt To Increase Tilt Lifting Force: Turn screw clockwise. To Decrease Tilt Lifting Force: Turn screw counterclockwise. 5! CAUTION Never remove this adjustment screw! Removing adjustment screw will cause damage to the arm and possible damage to equipment. 9 Arm Swing Swing arms from side-to-side at both pivot points through entire range of motion. If it does not stay in place or movement in one direction is stiff, tension needs adjustment - see below. Adjust until arms stay in place and tension, side-to-side, is equal. Adjust Arm Swing 2.5mm To Increase Tension: Turn screw clockwise. To Decrease Tension: Turn screw counterclockwise. 7 of 8
