Dear Shito Ryu Karate friends, the Slovak Shito Ryu Association is an organization which organized 1st European Shito Ryu Karate Federation Championships & in last ten years Slovak Shito Ryu Open tournaments. We are expecting with great encouragement the 2nd European Shito Ryu Karate Federation Championships which is to be held in June, 2014 in Nové Zámky, Slovakia. Insurance: It is recommended that all participants must affect their own medical insurance and personal trip insurance. The organizers are taking no liability for these concepts. The competitors start on their own risk. The Chiefs of the delegations have to sign the enclosed terms of responsibility sheet and return it by March 30 th 2014. Conditions of participation: Championships is open only for regular ERKF members Federations, Groups & Individuals. Federation, Group & Individual who intend to take part at the 2nd ERKF Championships must have pay annual memberships fee (collective - 200, individual - 30 ). In case that nonmember Federation, Group or Individual intend to participate at the Championships according Statutes of ERKF must apply for memberships. For opening of Kumite weight or Kata individual category is required to be registered in category minimum of four (4) competitors. If there is less then four competitors, the competitors will start (Kata) in older age category or (Kumite) in same age category but in higher weight category. Full repechage for two third places will be done. Referees: Referees with National, Style & International qualification are welcome. Participating Referees should attend pre Championship briefing and hand over their Karate Passport with confirmation of an allotted license. After briefing Referees will seat and pass theoretical examination from ERKF competition rules. At the briefing Referee commission will appoint Match area Controller, Appeal jury, deploy Referees and Judges to tatami. Federations or Groups have obligation to present minimum four (4) and maximum eight (8) Referees for the Championship. Federations or Groups, who will not present a Referees will by penalized by fine of 70..
