1. Overview InHand Device Cloud is a kind of service base on internet cloud, provided by InHand Networks, used for remote management, remote maintenance, remote monitoring. It includes three main function, they are Device Manager, Device Touch, Device Sense. As the following picture shows: Device Manager is used to manage InHand cellular device, it is a high productivity tool for easy mass configuration and deployment. It provides function such as network monitoring, batch management, configuration synchronization, flow monitoring, etc. Device Touch is used to maintain remote controller, by running the DT software on your laptop, you can do the programming or debugging for your remote PLC in any place where can access to internet. The network topology as the following:

Device Sense is used to monitor remote sensor, get status information of sensor, and it supports Web SCADA function. 2. Device Manager 2.1 Get an account by self-registration Step 1: Enable DM service on InHand Router InHand device cloud only provides service for InHand products, so first we should enable this service on InHand Router as the following: Step 2: Get an account by self-registration. Our cloud service server is: http://g.inhandnetworks.com, Input the URL in your web browser, if the language of Web page is Chinese, you can change it to English by clicking the English on the top right corner of the page. and then you can get an account by self-registration. The operation steps as the following shown:

2.2 Remotely Configure Gateway and Upgrade Firmware Step 1: Add gateway on InHand Cloud Platform as the following shown Step 2: After that, you can see the gateway is online as the following show: Step 3: Remotely configure gateway and upgrade firmware Click the button, pop the configuration page of gateway as the following show, and then you can remotely configure our gateway device, it seems that you are operating in the local site of device.

2.3 Batch Import Gateway Devices Step 1: Click the button then click on Download template first., will pop a box as the second picture below, and Step 2: The template like an Excel form as the following shows, and then input the necessary information. Step 3: After that, import the template file as the following, click on Select file, and the select the directory file.

2.4 Operator Management Now we can support two kinds of roles, they are super manager and device manager, after you got an account by self-registration, you are the super manager, so you can create multiple device managers and allocate them different authority. Step 1: Add Operator Click button username, Email, Phone, Roles., and pop a setting box, set the user information, such as Step 2: Assign Permission For Role You can set permissions for each role, double click a item of role, will pop role permission list on the right as the following :

2.5 Flow Monitoring and Reporting Reporting is used to query and export the detail information about devices or sites. Reporting includes three parts: Summary, Connection Statistics, Flow Statistics. Summary: Look at the selected filed boxed in red, user can define the query condition, and then click the button Query, it will show all the matching records, click the button Export to export these records. Connection Statistics: Flow Statistics:

Above is about DM function, if you want to use DT function, you need to continue the following operation: 3. Device Touch Step 1: Add Controller on our platform Click on the navigation device" icon, select controller, and then fill the PLC s information. Step 2: Download DT client software

Step 3: Install and Run DT client software on your PC, and then login by your username and password Step 4: After you login successfully, will show as the following, and then click ON button to build secure tunnel.

Step 5: Above is about Device Touch operation, when you finish that, you can run your PLC s programming software, and do the programming for remote PLC. 4. Device Sense Step 1: Add model on our platform Step 2: Create Web SCADA for each site
