About ICE ICE (the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade), also known as the Italian Trade Commission, is the government agency entrusted with promoting and developing trade, business opportunities and industrial cooperation between Italian and foreign companies. Its role is to assist Italian companies, offering services regarding the internationalization process, spreading knowledge about foreign markets and ways to promote Italian products and develop and strenghten business relationships. The head office in Rome coordinates a network of 117 branch offices in over 86 countries in the world, set up abroad as Trade Promotion Sections of the Italian Embassies. The office in Oslo, in Henrik Ibsensgate 60A, has been active for more than 25 years. Important business relations have been established and different aspects of Italy has been promoted on all levels. The office is ready to give assistance, not only to Italian companies interested in undertaking business relationships with Norway, but also to Norwegian public and private partners wishing to make any kind of business cooperation with Italian counterparts.
