08 Double Busbar Energy supply without outages is guaranteed with 2B double busbar switchgear. PM102468 The design combines all the technologies and components of the single busbar design - with the added advantages of a double busbar switchboard. Network Availability Network continuity is assured by utilizing separate disconnector switches for each busbar, allowing power to be transferred from one busbar to another without interruption. Moreover the 2B switchboards can be extended at both ends without a busbar outage. Safety & Ease of Operation 2B utilizes a robust metal cubicle construction with compartments segregated by earthed metal panels. Each compartment incorporates independent pressure relief vents and maintains separation of gas exhaust to avoid the pollution of other compartments. Ease of Access 2B allows easy access to all main swiching devices, including circuit breaker and both disconnecting switches. It also provides clear visibility of switch positions during operation and quick access for maintenance.
