1st Health Exhibition in the OIC Member States «1 st OIC HEALTH EXPO IN TUNISIA» 01-04 March 2012, Tunis Republic of Tunisia I - PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 1.1 ORGANISATION AND DATE: The "1st OIC HEALTH EXPO IN TUNISIA" will take place in the Exhibition Grounds of Le Kram, Tunis, Tunisian Republic, from 01 to 04 March 2012. 1.2 PARTICIPANTS: This exhibition is open to the participation of 57 OIC Member States, the Muslim communities in the non OIC Member States, observer countries, the OIC Institutions and the public and private economic operators in the OIC Member States. 1.3 EXHIBITED GOODS: Products and services to be exhibited, shall originate in the OIC Member States, as defined by national regulations of Member States and consistent with the ethics and values of Islam. 1.4 FINANCIAL CONDITIONS: The price per stand square meter shall be as follows: The covered square meter, furnished and equipped = 160 U.S. $; The covered and not equipped square meter is = 120 U.S$. A stand constructed and equipped of 9 sqm comprises: Carpeting; Partition walls of the stand; 1 spot light per 3 sqm 1 electric plug of 400 watts Sign board Liability insurance and fire; 1 table, 3 chairs, Cleaning
II- EXHIBITION RULES 2.1 OPENING HOURS Before the exhibition: installation of stands will be from 26 to 29 February 2012 from 10.am to 8.00 pm. During the exhibition: From 10.00 am to 7 pm After the exhibition: Dismantling of stands will take place on 05 and 06 March 2012 from 10H to 20H 2.2 RESERVATIONS: Only application form duly completed, signed and forwarded to the Société des Foires Internationales de Tunis, no later than 15 February 2012 will be accepted in the limits of available spaces. 2.3 PAYMENT: Stands booking are made on payment of 50% of the total area reserved for participants in U.S. dollars or Euros The remaining 50% and all invoices related to supplies, advertising in the catalogue and other services, must be paid 15 days before the exhibition opening. All payments must be made by direct transfer to the account of Société des Foires Internationales de Tunis : TN 59 3200 0978 1090 4192 BEIT ETTAMWIL TOUNSI SAUDI ( BEST BANK) -88 Avenue Hédi Chaker-1022-Tunis-Tunisia Any application not accompanied by a deposit of 50% of booth rental will be discontinued. In default of payment of the remaining amount of the invoice before 15 February 2012, the organizers may consider the participation agreement automatically terminated and forbid outright admission to participating in the exhibition. The exhibitor remains indebted to the organizers of the full amount of his contract. The stand will be made available to the exhibitor until he has satisfied all commitments made to the organizers, including the payment of the remaining amount of the rent. Every stand must be occupied by the contractor included on the application form. No subletting is allowed. The technical services of kram communicate to the participants as accurate as possible plans of the site reserved for them. However, it is incumbent to exhibitors to ensure their compliance or entrust their local representative (agent, assistant or fitter) to make the necessary checks. If necessary, the organizers can move a participant or assign it to another location corresponding to its business, without this change to be eligible for any compensation.
2.4 WAIVER: Waivers received after confirmation of the location, shall not be entitled to any refund, all sums paid are to cover administrative and technical costs already incurred by the organizers. If the waiver is made before the confirmation of the location, amounts paid as a deposit will be refunded after deduction of twenty-five percent (25%) of the stand rental fees as administrative penalties. Waivers must be made by registered mail to the administration of the Fair. 2.5 PRESENCE AT THE STAND: Exhibitors are required to maintain at all times to stand a delegate who is qualified to transact business. Exhibitors and the officials of stands are responsible for the conduct and actions of all staff attached to their services. 2.6 SPECIAL PROVISIONS: Exhibitors agree formally to abide by all provisions of these regulations, which are strictly enforced and may not be considered merely comminatory. Exhibitors and leaders of the stands or pavilions are responsible of their keeping and for all acts of their staff. The Exhibition organizers are not responsible for the conduct of staff employed by the exhibitors. The exhibition organizers are empowered to eject any undesirable person and, in general, to take all necessary measures to ensure the proper conduct and good reputation of the exhibition, including the filing of a complaint for damages or any legal action. 2.7 PROHIBITIONS: It is strictly forbidden to place in the stands highly flammable materials, weapons and narcotics. The use of music hi-fi systems is also forbidden at the stands and can result in seizure of equipment. As a result, organizers plan to make available to exhibitors who want a podium animation as well as spaces to show upon charges. The assignment or sublease of all or part of the stand or site is prohibited. However, with the written agreement of the organizers, several participants may jointly occupy the same stand.
Subject to approval by the administration of the Fair, exhibitors will organize various scientific events and national days. However, certain prohibitions must be observed on pain of immediate exclusion of the exhibition without notice, namely: Distributing samples or leaflets outside the stands; To attract customers, do any other noisy demonstration in any way or advertising in nature to disturb the occupants of neighboring stands and visitors; Place objects protruding on the outside of the stand; Damaging, in any manner whatsoever, the material at their disposal. In addition, it is strictly forbidden for exhibitors to leave personnel in the stands outside the opening hours of the exhibition, except for guards provided by licensed companies. 2.8- INSURANCE: Insurance is mandatory for all exhibitors. In addition to public liability insurance", supported by the organizers, exhibitors may enter into other forms of insurance with the Tunisian Insurance Companies, for equipment and goods displayed by them, whether these materials and merchandise are their property or that of others. Because of their participation, exhibitors waive all claims for accidents or damage against: Organizers of the Exhibition and the Exhibition Centre of the Kram Exhibition where the exhibition takes place; All participants in the exhibition; The top management, representatives, directors and agents of all such persons or organizations. 2.9 - SAFETY: The Administration of the Exhibition Center of Kram is responsible for security and maintenance of the exhibition grounds during the period of the Exhibition. For this purpose it assumes no responsibility regarding the specific tasks assigned to individuals. In order to prevent commercial espionage, the exhibition administration leaves full freedom to each exhibitor to protect himself legally and under his sole responsibility against those who would take pictures of the stands, pavilions or sites and use the photographs in their advertising pamphlets and brochures. 2.10- JURISDICTION: In case of dispute, the Tunisian courts only are entitled to judge. No exceptions will be made to this jurisdiction clause
2.11- CERTIFICATES AND TROPHIES: Three trophies of distinction will be awarded to the best national pavilions by a jury, based on the following criteria: Exhibition space; Quality of products and services on display; Number of exhibiting companies; Importance of trade delegation. Participation certificates, signed by the Director General of the Société des Foires Internationale de Tunis will also be given to all exhibitors III. CUSTOMS AND ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES: 3.1 - ENTRY VISA: Foreign participants and / or potential visitors to the Exhibition if subjected to this formality must necessarily apply for a visa to enter the Republic of Tunisia, to Tunisian embassies accredited in their respective countries. Nationals of other countries must contact the embassies of Tunisia accredited in their respective countries to get information on whether or not an entry visa for Tunisia is necessary. For nationals of countries where there is no Tunisian embassy, it will be imperative that concerned persons send to Société des Foires Internationale de Tunis a photocopy of their passports valid at least 30 Days before the start of the event. 3.2- EXHIBITED GOODS: The goods displayed at the Exhibition can be sent by all routes (land - sea - air) except by mail. They cannot be introduced at the Exhibition only by accredited forwarders by the Exhibition Ground Administration for admission by the Customs services, and guarantee of duties relating to imported products. The goods issue is subordinate to the visa of the Customs, Société des
Foires Internationale de Tunis and licensed freight forwarder. Exit vouchers are given only after payment of services requested and performed. To facilitate customs clearance, it is planned to open a customs office on the exhibition site.
