What is Zachariah House? Zachariah House is a faith-based transitional living community for men whom were once displaced and homeless due to issues of addiction, and now seeking to live in a structured, safe and sober living environment. Zachariah House is open to adult men that are committed to their ongoing progress in their recovery from addiction, as they return to life as productive citizens.

Worth, Texas, 2010 Of those who completed the ODM Nine-Month recovery program: Using ODM s more inclusive success criteria, 24 of 66 participants (36%) met the requirements for success, resulting in a total success rate of 9.7% at 3 to 12 months follow-up.
Why Zachariah House? In another tracking study (March 2010-June 2012), statistics revealed the following regarding men transitioning into two local (SRO s) single room occupancy apartments: 45% Success rate for 20 men - Return to life of Crime - Unemployed - Drug Use - Evicted/Homeless
Zachariah House Results In a recent tracking study (March 2010-August 2012), statistics revealed the following regarding 30 men of a nine-month recovery program who transitioned into Zachariah House: 76% Success Rate - No Return to Drug Use (Sober) - Employed Tax Paying Citizens - No Return to Crime - No Longer Homeless - Established in a Service/Volunteerism Program - Established a Place of Worship
History of Zachariah House Began in March 2010 Opened with two separate dwelling structures (homes) on 3.5 acres 10 beds Zach I 6 beds Zach II 7 beds Zach III additional 2.5 acres (January 2012) 4 beds- Zach IV (January 2013) Operation was placed under the auspices of St. Francis Charities, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1961 (January 2013)
Mission of Zachariah House The mission of Zachariah House is to assist men in their road to continued recovery from former issues of homelessness, drug/alcohol abuse, unemployment, mental challenges, crime, and lack of spiritual life.
