lage/verkehrskonzept to achieve a townlike ambience in these green fields we need buildings volumes, which fit together and show difference at the same time. the functions must be visible without signs, the forms timeless like grown structures. there are some dominant directions in this site. the lakeshore with its high trees, the connection to the village on the hill (church) and last but not least the small channel. all buildings float around their new center, the marina harbour. hill / church / village lake / shore trees d i r e c t i o n s lake / open view

hotel the hotel is dominated by a huge wing, flying over a complex row of white cubes and wide terraces. thus giving the whole structure an elegant and dynamic apperance. especially the appartments under the steel roof get some extra shadow and protected outside space. in the night this element is lit from underneath and visible from far away. the 3 story gap under that roof acts as a welcome sign and shows the entrance to the hotel and the harbour, while seen from the water it connects the marina with the hills (and church) of alsoor, to get the relation to the place. t h e h o t e l

harbour master this area is highly practical, open, airy and easy to use. storage, toilets and showers for the sailors are hidden behind a wooden grill, bent in a shiplike or saillike form, which is lit by night to form the counterpart to the bar/restaurant pier on the other side. the harbour masters office is integrated in the structure to have perfect view on the basin and incoming sailors. g u e s t s t o r a g e a r e a / harbour master

the park the park brings the two residential villages together. you can wlak along the small channel under trees and rest, or have various sport and leisure elements side by side. natural elements, typical plants of this area form a park, which connects landart and untouched landscape. the channel is fed by the overflowing water of the pool in the sailing city, and brings the water to lake balaton. t h e p a r k

pier the pier is one of the most importants elements of a marina, being the life line, the promenade, the main square of this city. to see and to be see is essentially the basic things of visitors and boat owners, without that it would be half the fun. a special light installation gives the linear structure a 3 dimensional extension. slowly waving in the wind, these poles are steel brothers of the weed in the sea, give dynamic and grace. the p i e r the p o l e s
