This is the central finding f an internatinal survey f 120 enterprise decisin-makers in Nrth America and Nrthern Eurpe cnducted by BizTechReprts in the first three weeks f March. The prject was spnsred by Unit4, a glbal business sftware cmpany based in the Netherlands. Anther key bservatin: IT rganizatins appear t see the need t adpt a brader BI&A strategy mre clearly than their line-f-business (LOB) cunterparts in bth the Eurpean and Nrth American markets. Wh Was Surveyed: Our survey slicited input in their native language frm executives in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdm, Scandinavia, and Germany. Nrth America accunted fr 56 percent f all respndents. Eurpe accunted fr 44 percent. 59 percent f the Nrth American respndents were in IT psitins. 39 percent f the Eurpean respndents were in IT psitins. Amng the verall LOB respndents: 28 percent were in Finance Departments. 20 percent were in Operatins Departments. 4 percent were in Human Resurces Departments. 6 percent were in Sales Departments. 24 percent selected "Other. 10 percent were in Marketing Departments. 8 percent were in Legal Departments. In terms f annual revenues: 7 percent reprted Less than $100 Millin. 19 percent reprted between $100 Millin and $200 Millin. 16 percent reprted between $200 Millin and $500 Millin. 12 percent reprted between $500 Millin and $750 Millin. 22 percent reprted between $750 Millin and $1 Billin. 24 percent reprted between $1 Billin r mre.
