THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT PROCESS 1. Driver Stops Taxi Meter after the Trip. 2. Customers Requests for Credit Card Payment 3. Driver Choose Credit Card Option in M710W and Enters SELECT 4. M710W would Pick up the Fare Details and Displays the Fare 5. There would be Option for Driver to Enter Tips. 6. There would be Option Others to enter ERP and other charges 7. The Total Fare (including Tips) would be displayed on the M710W 8. Drivers Selects Swipe option from M710W 9. M710W responds, Please swipe the Credit card 10.Drivers Swipes the credit card 11. All the credit card details (No credit card No) are displayed on terminal screen 12. Driver confirms from customer that the amount is correct. 13. Driver would select PROCESS button on M710W
THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT PROCESS 14. While process is going on M710W would display Processing with blinking 15. M710W sends the Card and Fare details to Dispatch Server. 16. Dispatch server would then send these details on the DBS bank Payment gateway 17. Once approved, Dispatch server sends the APPROVED/NOT APPROVED Message to M710W 18. M710W would replace the Processing message with APPROVED/NOT APPROVED with an beep sound 19. Upon seeing the APPROVED, Driver selects PRINT command in M710W 20. TWO copies of the Receipt is printed on Printer, One for customer and one for Driver. 21. Driver would take customer signature on his copy. 22. Transaction Completed. 23. If NOT APPROVED, Reattempt is made or card is rejected.
