Erasmus in Campus The Association Erasmus in Campus is a non-party, non-denominational and non-profit Association. It has been created to provide a welcome and support service to all international students in Rome. Our team, made up of ex-erasmus students, has been working since the 2005/2006 academic year in order to facilitate the integration of Erasmus students in the university and city environment, making their stay much more exciting and special. We are committed to encouraging both moments of growth and cultural exchange. The C.A.M.P.U.S. Service (Centralized Accommodation Plan for University Students). The Erasmus in Campus Association provides a central booking service for Accommodation in University Residences or Private Apartments. The C.A.M.P.U.S. Service is the first Accommodation Service in Rome completely dedicated to Erasmus students. We are the Team of Accommodation Tutors who will take care about you after your arrival, take you for the flats Tour, help you to decide about the apartment and help you to make the legal side of the renting contract. C.A.M.P.U.S. Service Booking Procedures STEP 1 Send a request for Accommodation - info@erasmusroma.eu STEP 2 We send you back the Application Form for the CAMPUS Service. STEP 3 Fill in the Application Form and send it back to Us. This STEP is useful to understand if you want to stay in a Private Flat or at the CampusX University Residence. STEP 4a Shared Flat: if you apply for a room (Single or Double) in a shared flat we organize the Flats Tour for you as well as the Pick-Up Service from the Central Station Inn Hostel. You can check the Flats Tour Section. STEP 4b - CampusX University Residence: if you apply for the CampusX University Residence we send you a booking confirmation within a few days. The Flats Tour (Private Accommodations only) You confirm your time and date of Arrival as soon as you know about it. Send us the required data (APPLICATION FORM). If you want the Association can book a room at the Central Station Inn Hostel for the first couple of days. Booking : info@erasmusroma.eu. After your Arrival we drive you from flat to flat (some of them will have students from previous tours, some of them will have students from previous semester). PRIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS Booking Procedure: STEP 4a Private Accommodation means that you can live in Rome in flats and apartments owned by private people. All our flats are recently renewed, fully furnished and connected to the Public transport System. They are all positioned along the Subway Lines or next to Bus stations (Linea A/B - www.atac.roma.it). You will share the flat together with other Erasmus students. Students usually prefer this solution. All Flats have furnished kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and 2/3 spacious bedrooms (singles and doubles mixed) with bed, chair, desk and wardrobe. Transports. All flats are well connected to both the University and the City Center (about 20/30 minutes to reach each one by Subway or Bus). Location. Proximity to the University Campus: 20/30 minutes Proximity to Subway Stations: YES Proximity to a Bus Station: YES Proximity to a Night Bus: YES Proximity to the City Center: YES (15/30 min.). Deposit. One month of Deposit is required.

PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION - Booking Procedure: STEP 4a Rooms Prices: 1) 350/450 euro for the single room (plus expenses - gas, electricity, maintenance - usually not more than 20/30 euro per month per person); 2) 250/280 euro for the double room (plus expenses - gas, electricity, maintenance - usually not more than 20/30 euro per month per person); 3) 150 euro: you must pay this fee only on the first month. It includes: Pick-Up Service (Flats Tour), Contract procedures and taxes, the Payment Service at the post office of all bills (maintenance, electricity, gas). Dates of Arrival and Departure. The availability of Apartments is limited. Students arriving in late August or early September will have a wider choice of Rooms. The minimum stay in an Apartment is 5/6 months. The departure date is indicative. It is possible to extend the contract if requested. Tax code required.

CampusX University Residence Booking Procedure: STEP 4b The Campus of Tor Vergata is designed to become a "student town" based on innovation and relationships with fellow students, with academic institutions, international associations with students and with the world of work. CampusX beyond the boundaries of a traditional dormitory for students, aims to become a place that embraces 360 degree student life, ranging from genuine, activities to support the study. Rooms. Spacious apartments (38 to 46 square meters) consisting of two single rooms, bathroom, living room and kitchenette. Furnishment. Stove with two burners, microwave oven, standard refrigerator, dish drainer, rubbish bin, dishes and utensils. Cabinets with drawers. Bathroom with shower, heated towel racks, coat racks, mobile storage, hairdryer. Prices. The average price is around 400/440 euro per month according with the location and floor of the room. The price includes: Gas, Electricity, Wi-fi and Maintenance. Parking and air conditiong are not included in the fee. Contract. After our e-mail of confirmation you can directly go to the CampusX Reception during the opening hours. You will sign the contract and get the keys of your room. For the Contract you must pay an extra 70/80 euro (taxes) per person (only for the first month). One month of Deposit is required.

CampusX University Residence Booking Procedure: STEP 4b Directions. The CampusX Residence is located next to the Campus of Tor Vergata in the south east part of Rome, just outside of the City. Address. Via di Passolombardo 341-00133 Roma Tor Vergata. Maps: www.atac.roma.it. The Residence is brand new. A private shuttle-bus runs 4/6 times a day from CampusX to all Faculties. Anagnina is the name of the closest Subway Station. CampusX Proximity to the University Campus: YES Proximity to a Bus Station: YES Proximity to a Night Bus: NO Proximity to a Subway Station: NO Distance from the City Center: Approx. 45 min./1 Hour. If you arrive on the weekend we recommend you book one or two nights at the Central Station Inn Hostel. Central Station Inn Hostel - Booking Procedure: STEP 4a - STEP 4b Finding a room in Rome is the first big problem faced by International/Erasmus students upon their arrival. There are lots of rooms for rent, but they pose two basic problems. First, you actually have to find one. Second, you have to determine whether it is truly a good deal or not. In this context, Hostels represent a good solution, for the first few days at least. The Central Station Inn Hostel offers a good relationship between quality and price (starting from 22 euro per night, breakfast included). The Flats Tour will start from the Hostel.
