1. DN4 Platform Introduction DN4 platform is a set of useful and powerful management software product, it can provide practical and easy remote management and query service. Base on DN4, users can remotely upgrade, configure and query information of device, the operation is very easy. It makes the large quantities of device management very simple, convenient and fast. DN4 platform includes 7 modules, they are: Home, System, Reporting, Devices, Sites, Notifications and Tasks. The Web interface as shown in Figure 1-1 2. Login Figure 1-1 2.1 Registration Open the web browser, and input: http://g.inhandnetworks.com. Click on the upper right corner "registered" (red box position) began to register account, as shown in Figure 2-1 Figure 2-1

2.2 Login Open web browser, and input http://g.inhandnetworks.com. Click Email/password/ security code, as shown in Figure 2-2 2.3 Logout Figure 2-2 Click on the username behind Welcome, and then pop-up My Account dialog box, click Logout button to logout. Configuration Management 3.1 Home Home includes two parts: Gateway Summary and Site Summary Gateway Summary: Summary gateways according to different classification (connection, operation status, model, network type). Figure 3-2 3.2 System System is used to finish user management, such as: add/delete users, add tags and so on. System includes three parts: Users, Roles and Tags. 3.2.1 Users Management On the page System->Users, you can add, delete and edit users. As shown in the Figure 3-3 Figure 3-3 Add new users: Click on the add button, fill the user s information in the pop-up dialog box, click Save button, then a new user has been created. Delete users: Select the username which you want to delete, and click delete butoon. Edit users: Click the line that a username is in, it turns green, on right side will pop up dialog box, there you can edit user s information.

3.2.2 Roles Management On the page System->Roles, you can view the detail information of roles. Now we support two kind of roles, they are super manager and device manager. Only the users with super manager role can create new user. Click on the line that role name is in, on the right side will show role s information, as shown in Figure 3-4 Figure 3-4 3.2.2 Group Management On the page System->Group management, you can view the detail information of Group management. The understanding of group: Only organization manager can manage the group; a group can bind multiple users; a users can be bond to multiple groups; users can access all devices and sites under the group to which it belongs, also can access those devices and sites which were not designed to a group, but can t access those devices and sites which belong to other groups; The users who were not designed to a group, only can access those devices and sites which also were not designed to a group. As shown in the Figure 3-5 and Figure 3-6. Figure 3-5

Figure 3-6 Add new group: Click on the add button, fill the group s information in the pop-up dialog box, click Submit button, then a new group has been created. Delete group: Select the groupname which you want to delete, and click delete butoon. Edit group: Click the line that a groupname is in, it turns green, on right side will pop up dialog box, there you can edit groupname s information., Remove selected device managers, devices and sites from group, Remove all of device managers, devices and sites form group, Add selected device managers, devices and sites to group, Add all of the device managers, devices and sites to group 3.2.4 Organ information API KEY 1:Export the key, reserved for new function. 3.2.5Tags Management As shown in Figure3-7, can manage tags.

Edit Tags: Click on the line that tag is in, it will turn green and then pop up a dialog box on the right side, you can edit tag in it. 3.3 Reporting Reporting is used to query and export the detail information about devices or sites. Reporting includes three parts: Summary, Connection Statistics and Flow Statistics 3.3.1 Summary Users can define the query condition, and then click the button Query, it will show all the matching records, click the button Export to export these records. As show in Figure 3-8 Figure 3-8 3.3.2 Connection Statistics Online statistics has two forms: online statistical reports and online statistical curve. If you choose the online statistical report forms in the navigation tree, as shown in Figure 3-9. Users can define the statistical conditions, and then click Query button to display all the information that meet the conditions. If you want to export these information, you can click the export button.

Figure 3-9 3.3.3 Flow Statistics: Traffic statistics has two kinds of forms: traffic statistics reports and traffic statistics curves. If you select the traffic statistics report form in the navigation tree, as shown in Figure 3-10. Users can define the statistical conditions, and then click Query button to display all the information that meet the conditions. If you want to export these information, you can click the export button. Figure 3-10 3.4 Device Device includes gateway, controller and model, this part is used to manage these devices,

such as: add/delete/edit tags, add/delete device, batch import and gateway management. 3.4.1 Gateway On the page of gateway, there are three kind of buttons as shown in Figure 3-11. Yellow box part: Select the form to display device name and related information. Green box part: Add/delete gateways: click Add/Delete button to add or delete gateways Batch add tags: first select the object to add tags, and then click on Batch tag button. Batch import Gateways: Click on<batch import > button, pop-up a dialog box, as shown in Figure. First download template, input related information, and then import this file.

For InRouter 600 and InRouter 700 series, the configuration interface as shown in Figure 3-14

Figure 3-18 3.5 Sites On the page of Sites, there are three items: Sites, Global, Device Touch. Sites is used to add/delete/tag site resource. Global is used to edit WEBSCADA. Device Touch is used to provide an interface to download DT software. 3.5.1 Sites Add/delete sites: the method is same to add/delete user, refers to 3.2.1 user management. Batch add tags: select the sites need to add tag, and then click on <batch tag>button. Figure 3-19 3.5.2 Global Global is used to add, delete, edit and display WEBSCADA frame.
