TM vetcogray a GE Oil & Gas business Subsea production systems Advanced technology and systems integration for subsea field development

Flexible, proven, integrated solutions for any subsea development As offshore field development increases, advanced technologies are enabling reliable, flexible, high performance fast drilling and production from deeper waters and marginal fields. Today, GE s Oil & Gas business plays a key role in supporting offshore and subsea operators as they strive to optimize their existing assets and exploit their new deepwater discoveries and marginal reserves. VetcoGray, a GE Oil & Gas business, has more than 100 years of upstream oil and gas experience and 45 years of subsea production experience enabling us to create the right solution to any subsea development. Our team of 5,500 dedicated professionals support operations in more than 90 locations spread across 32 countries. VetcoGray s success delivering projects of all sizes on-time underscores our commitment to world class engineering, supply chain management, project management, quality, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and service excellence. VetcoGray s subsea production systems include: Subsea systems design Subsea production services Subsea control systems Subsea trees Manifolds and connectors Subsea processing Subsea power Manifolds Controls Processing Software Providing the highest level of system integration, VetcoGray offers a global single source responsibility for any size subsea development, whether tied back to an offshore facility, or as a long step-out from shore. As subsea systems are increasingly the solution to the development of deepwater discoveries and marginal reserves, all of the packages are engineered to optimize productivity. Design is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the reservoir, installation procedures and interface with the storage and processing systems. A typical array might comprise seabed infrastructure, with trees, control modules, manifold and connection systems, orchestrated by a surface control station. Increasingly, subsea power and processing solutions are added to enhance production. Our extensive field experience, in-depth product knowledge and integrated systems approach help our customers bring fields into operation safely, efficiently and cost effectively. Our global installed base includes approximately: 900 subsea trees, 500 subsea control modules, 80 subsea manifolds, over 1000 subsea connections plus 6 subsea processing and power systems. VetcoGray s system integration services for field development include: Conceptual field development studies Field layout optimization Flow assurance analysis FEED studies Pre-Engineering definition & interface identification Front cover: Photograph courtesy of Statoil. Trees Global application of our technology includes: Brownfield extensions Fast track green field projects in continental shelf waters Greenfield projects in deep waters (up to 10,000 ft) Long offset subsea tiebacks (up to 300 km) Fields requiring subsea separation & boosting Gas fields requiring subsea wet gas compression Developments in Arctic waters & other environmentally sensitive regions

Subsea production systems building blocks: Trees Conventional trees, Horizontal trees, Tree-on-mudline Subsea production control systems & instrumentation Control system infrastructure: Distribution hardware & jumpers electrical, optical, hydraulic Topsides power & control modules Manifolds Flowline connection systems Flowline jumpers Production control systems - data management Production control systems offer a robust subsea communication network, designed for up to 10,000 ft water depth and over distances up to in excess of 300km. Our systems offer open data management channels where required for data hand-off to support operator decisions. Systems are being designed to meet the latest developments of Intelligent well (IWIS) and Subsea instrumentation interface standardizaton (SIIS). Connection systems - plug and play The VetcoGray range of subsea connection systems features diverless connectors and tooling systems for most applications, including rigid jumpers and tie-in spools, flexible flowlines, umbilicals, singlebore and multibore hubs, clamp, mandrel and collet connectors and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) jumper / flying lead systems. Tree systems - reliability Trees are now designed to meet the exacting requirements of developments ranging from 100 ft to 10,000 ft water depths. Tree configurations include diver assisted shallow water mudline trees (TOM) up to drill through and deepwater guidelineless horizontal (HT) and vertical or conventional (CT) trees. The tree system design accommodates reservoir shut in conditions of 350ºF and 15,000 PSI. Templates & manifolds - modularity In various configurations, Subsea manifolds effectively provide the gathering and distribution points for a subsea system. Based on standard building blocks, configurations can be template or cluster manifolds with internal or external pigging loops, horizontal or vertical connectors, manifold-to-tree or choke bridge connections. The distribution systems for hydraulic and electrical power can be hardpiped, multibore connections or made up by ROV jumpers. Other variants of subsea structures including skirt, monopile or suction anchor foundations, are tailored to suit seabed conditions. Our responsibilities include: Management of execution Project schedule risk control Interface management & close out Reliability / availability analysis & technical risk assessment / assurance Performance envelope analysis: Infrastructure services Flow assurance Major systems integration testing Load-out & sea fastenings Offshore installation and testing System commissioning up to first oil Handover to integrated Aftermarket service for life of field support Preparation of decommissioning & disposal plan to meet environmental standards Processing & power - field proven designs VetcoGray, a GE Oil & Gas business, is applying global experience and proven technology to optimize output from field extensions and new developments, including harsh and sensitive environments. Our portfolio includes separation, HV electric power distribution and booster pumps and compressors. VetcoGray has already designed, built and tested the major components for a subsea electrical distribution system for the successful Troll subsea separation project. This experience has led to a unique capability in dynamic simulations to optimize field architecture, in system design and in product development. With growing demand for subsea processing and boosting generating requirements for high voltage power and distribution systems, VetcoGray has considerable skill and experience in subsea power transmission.

Software Global Services The enhanced subsea control system (ECS) is an evolutionary step in the development of the true e-field operation, providing smart building blocks to support digital operations. As integrated components of the subsea process control system, there are a number of software applications that help operators to improve offshore productivity. One example of these software applications is the Virtual flow meter which provides accurate well allocation and real time production data. This can be a cost saving substitute or alternatively a useful back-up to physical flow measuring devices. This advanced model based software solution for online, real-time calculation of oil, gas, water content and flow rates from each well is the key to executing successful flow assurance, optimization and slug prevention strategies. VetcoGray s global Aftermarket services provide a fully-integrated capability for the application, management and care of drilling and production equipment, onshore and offshore. With more than a century s experience of Aftermarket, a global network and highly-trained personnel, VetcoGray is committed to one-stop access for the full range of services. Our mission is to minimize downtime, maximize asset use, optimize equipment life cycles and provide full obsolescence support. From initial delivery and installation through operations to decommissioning, the scope includes one-off tasks, specific projects and life of field support, covering field service, repair, rental, spares, field life management, intervention & workover controls, workover risers & completion systems. We provide software solutions for: Virtual flow metering Flow assurance Optimization Asset management Operator training Sales/Service/Project Office Engineering Center Manufacturing Center
