3 Smart Clamp - Diver Installable & Diverless Permanent Pipeline Repair Clamp Oceaneering s Smart Clamp is a diver installable split mechanical fitting used to repair a damaged or leaking subsea pipeline. The fitting eliminates costly pipeline shut downs and expensive hyperbaric welding associated with other repair methods. 4 Smart Tap - Mechanical Hot Tap Fitting Oceaneering s Smart Tap is a split mechanical hot tap fitting that provides a necessary flanged branch for hot tapping an existing subsea pipeline and tying-in a new lateral pipeline. The fitting eliminates costly pipeline shut downs and expensive hyperbaric welding. After tapping, the Smart Tap provides permanent high quality sealing integrity and full structural reinforcement for the design life of the pipeline. 4 4

5 B-CON Misalignment Ball Connector The B-CON is designed for piping and pipeline systems where the connector must compensate for misalignment of the pipe. The B-CON significantly reduces the time required to install subsea pipeline connections by providing a leak tight metal seal with performance characteristics and versatility that exceed those of welded pipe or conventional flanges. While primarily intended for subsea piping operations, the B-CON is a valuable piece of equipment in any application (above or below water) where misalignment of the pipeline is a problem. Features: Accommodates up to +/-10 of Angular Misalignment 360 Rotation Capability 100% Metal-to-Metal Seal Fully Piggable Swivel Ring Flange Oceaneering s Swivel-Ring Flange assembly provides easy alignment of the bolt holes during makeup to a common flange such as those defined by ASME B16.5, MSS SP-44 and API 6A. Alignment is an important and critical feature when bolting subsea pipeline flanges together. The outer ring flange of the Swivel-Ring Flange assembly is held in position by a retainer ring that freely rotates around the inner weld-neck hub for quickly positioning the bolt holes of the two joining flanges. 6 Pressure-Balanced Breakaway Joint (PBBJ) Oceaneering s Pressure-Balanced Breakaway Joint (PBBJ) is a connector that separates if an externally applied tension load exceeds a preset value. Separation of the PBBJ at the predetermined load is independent of the pipeline internal pressure or external water depth pressure. The intentional separation of the joint prevents overloading and costly damage to structures to which the pipeline is attached as well as protecting the pipe itself. Structures such as platforms, risers, offshore tanker loading installations, subsea production systems and lateral pipeline tie-ins are protected from loads often caused by anchor drags, mud slides, iceberg scouring and violent sea states during hurricanes. 7 Piggable Wye Fitting Oceaneering s Piggable Wye is a forged or cast fitting that joins pipelines and permits pigging from either inlet branch toward the single outlet. The fitting utilizes a 30º inclusive angle between the inlet bores, an industry accepted intersection for reliable passage of most common pipeline pigs. The Piggable Wye is available in two basic configurations, Symmetrical and Asymmetrical. 8 Smart Vent Safety System Oceaneering s Smart Vent Safety System is specifically designed to provide efficient riser repairs and to maximize the safety of workers. The Smart Vent Safety System creates a safe work site by venting any hazardous vapors away from the workstation during pipe repairs. Repairs utilizing the Smart Vent Safety System can be executed without flooding or purging the riser, eliminating the need to handle or dispose of contaminated seawater. The system maintains a large vent area that ensures proper control of pressurization and release of vapors. Potential damage and environmental hazards resulting from spills are minimized since hazardous fluids are piped to a remote storage location. The Smart Vent Safety System provides a safe and economical solution to ventilation requirements. With the Smart Vent Safety System, testing the entire line is not necessary if only the last weld or mechanical connection requires testing. The Smart Vent Safety System is anchored, vented and available in all pipe sizes. It can be used repeatedly without redressing. For additional personnel protection, the hydraulic pressure system is monitored by an alarm that sounds warning signals to alert workers in the event of a pressure reduction. 9 Diverless Connection & Repair Systems A GRAYLOC Remote Clamp Connector is the basis for the Diverless Connection & Repair System. The clamp connector uses a single drive screw with a standard API torque bucket for make up by an industry standard Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) torque tool. No running tools are required. The connector is designed to provide a structural connection point subsea. When actuated, the Hydraulic Smart Flange (HSF) Connector will structurally attach to and seal against the pipe. It s capable of withstanding full pipeline axial, bending, and torsional loads while maintaining full line pressure integrity. 9

10 Diverless Connection Systems - Vertical & Horizontal PCRS Diverless Connection System utilizes the GRAYLOC Remote Clamp Connector for fast and reliable pipeline and flowline tie-ins in water depths beyond divers capabilities. The system relies on a ROV operated three segment clamp connector to make the connection between the two hubs (female and male), capturing a patented Grayloc metal seal ring in between. The clamp connector utilizes a single drive screw with a standard API Torque Bucket and is made up using an industry standard ROV Torque Tool. The jumper connector with the female hub retains the metal seal ring with a series of retainer blocks. Once the clamp connector is fully made up, an annulus test port is located on the backing plate of the connector allows for the verification of the sealing integrity. No running tool is necessary for the installation of the connection system. 11 Hydraulic Double Grip & Seal Connector Deepwater, Diverless Pipeline Repair For deepwater pipeline repairs PCRS offers the Hydraulic Double Grip and Seal Connector (HDGSC). The hydraulic pipe end connector grew from the field proven technology of the Hydraulic Smart Flange (HSF) Connector and a mechanically set Smart Flange Plus Connector. The HDGSC consists primarily of two sets of HSF Connector s internal components which are designed in a mirror image configuration. The connector is designed to provide a structural connection between the jumper pipe and an existing pipeline subsea. When hydraulically actuated, the HDGSC will structurally attach to and seal against both pipe ends. The connector is capable of withstanding full pipeline axial, bending, and torsional loads while withstanding hydrostatic end loads from the pipeline.
