Recommended Full Academic Load at Exchange Universities for Full UWA Credit (As at June 2012) This following table is a guide for Faculty course advisers and students about the points or credits required to achieve the equivalent of a standard full load at the UWA per. It is based on historical approvals and is continually updated so should not be used as a predictor of future credit arrangements. Inconsistencies should be brought to the attention of the Study Abroad Office. This information is primarily for Undergraduate students. Loads may vary for Postgraduate students. While on exchange you must retain a full time enrolment status at UWA (no less than 24 points per ) and register for a standard full-time academic load at your host university. Your enrolment at your host university must be in units which count for at least 24 UWA credit points (per ), unless otherwise approved. Do not assume that 4 units at your host university is equivalent to 4 UWA units. Any variation to this requires approval from your Faculty before going on exchange. The relevant UWA Faculty will make the final decision on the equivalent full load acceptable at your host university. Please note that the host universities use different terminology to that used at UWA. Units may be called the following: Courses, Modules, Subjects, Papers. Points may be called the following: Units, Credits, Credit Hours, ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
