Move the ProTracker Advantage SQL database files to the new server Option A. If you are upgrading to a SQL server from an Access database, use this option. This step is only required if you do not already have a SQL Server database. If you are moving your ProTracker SQL database from one server to another, skip this step. 1. Download the following file to the server desktop: http://protracker.com/download/tools/sql/protrackeradvantagesqldatabase.zip 2. Double-click the file to open it 3. The preferred folders are: C:\program files\protracker advantage\ for 64-bit systems, or C:\program files (x86)\protracker advantage\ for 32-bit systems Note: A common alternative is to place the database files on a secondary internal hard drive with other data keeping it separate from program files on the C:\ drive. Option B. Transfer your SQL Server database files to the new server. 1. On the older server, detach the ProTrackerAdvantage database from the SQL Server. 2.
